That’s 33k per month for two years. US population growth is just under 1%, and the labor force is about 154 million implying about addition 125k people each month looking for work. Adding 33k jobs a month is a very low bar,and the unemployment rate would probably increase. This economy (not the government) needs to create over 200k jobs/month to make a meaningful difference.

I bet 0bama will claim to “save or create” those jobs.

I strongly believe that he is holding onto stimulus money and other large amounts of money in order to flood the economy with money and temp jobs in time to make it look like things are turning around nicely for his election. That is why he will not spend money now that has been paid back etc but keeps on borrowing and making money instead. It is all about him.
We have to call him on this plan long before he tries to execute it and often so the public will not be fooled and they will understand the dirty underhanded way he is going to try to manipulate them. If we wait until he does it and then point it out it will be too late. They will just think that it is “sour grapes” and will not listen to us. The public will be too happy because things seem to be going better to bother to figure out what is behind it.

The poll should include options for job losses.
