Things just keep getting better for people from California who moved to the Dallas Metroplex. First it was In N Out Burger.....now it's Del Taco. 70 to 80 units to open in Dallas Metroplex. And they even have great Fries too.

In the Nashville area there was a Del Taco/Captain D’s combo store. It has since changed back to a Captain D’s

Del Taco is all right. Prices are reasonable. My wife suspects they use TVP in their beef, however. (I don’t argue, she has a great palate)

Unless I am mistaken, and this isn't one of my better days, there was a Del Taco located on Oaklawn Ave. right down the street from the Dallas World Trade Center, where I worked, in the early 80's.

Looks like I was right.

I could have swore I ate at a Del Taco when passing through Texas once. Just another example of the memory not always being reliable...
