Yeah, good idea, Texas needs a few more taco stands! snort*///>
To all people thinking of moving to Texas.....most Texans are really nice people......very friendly......but as with any place....there are some pricks.....the kind Bill Maher makes a living making fun of.....ignore em.....most are very nice......and welcoming too.
In San Diego there are KILLER 24hr roach-coach Mexican food places EVERYWHERE! Robertos, Alibertos, etc.
My brother was down from Northern Cali celebrating my sisters 21st birthday. He got hungry and I said “Mexican?” he said yes so we started walking down the street. He asked me “Where are we going?” I replied “the closest place?”, “Where is that?”, “I don't know, but you can't walk too far before you find one!”
We went two blocks and there were TWO, right across the street from each other. And it was AMAZINGLY good!
Yeah....70 or 80 “taco stands”....I mean....heck.....that’s gotta hurt the economy.....genius.
Many of my favorite bands are from Texas....Old 97s, Alejandro Escovedo, Bad Livers.....
“...and will probably be ok when I buy a new Chevy Traverse in the next few months......”
Why would any conservative do business with Government Motors?
Nope. Be afraid that you'd like it.
Uh....because it seats 8, has good overall ratings, excellent gas mileage.and I like the way it looks? Pretty simple......
What is your problem?
Del Taco is surprisingly good for fast food. It beats the heck out of the crappy Taco Bell.
I guess we'll stop earlier now.
El Fenix.
Del Taco is not new to Dallas or to Texas. I worked at one in Texarkana in 1981. They used to be all over the DFW metro area,
Who'd want their food anyway? They use "extenders" (=oatmeal) in their meat. If you want a taco, go to one of those greasy mom and pop joints in the Mexican strip mall, not to Smel Taco.
we love to EAT out in TEXAS. In Lubbock, TX it is even higher percentage of people per capita.... on the eating out issue.
LOL Damn, you are from Florida!
It's "Quesadilla", FRiend.
There are various styles of Mexican food. TexMex is just one.
One I don't prefer.
If the Californians moved back to where they came from it would be places like Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and assorted cold places. The California paradise was ruined by people importing themselves into it from across the country. Let’s ease up on “Californians” I say. It is not any particluar state identity, rather it is people who just move somewhere to take advantage of its employment, culture or weather and then proceed to start changing it right away. THAT is what everybody resents. If people would come to a place and keep it as they found it instead of trying to remake it into the bad place they left, everybody would be fine with it I think. People just keep running away from leftists instead of standing their ground.
Michigan already has had Del Tacos. Now please send us a Taco Bueno, and a Whataburger!
Some Texan friends had my wife and me over once for enchiladas. I had no idea why there was chili on them.
It wasn't too bad.
