Continue your twisting and lying!

Mary Schweitzer said that she dissolved bone in acid yielding soft tissue. The use of the term ‘fossil’ seems to throw your minimal cognition. In this case it was used not to declare fossilization, but simply something old.

Go to the links folks AMD lies constantly.

From the article in Scientific American:

“In 1991, Schweitzer was trying to study thin slices of bones from a 65-million-year-old T. rex. She was having a hard time getting the slices to stick to a glass slide, so she sought help from a molecular biologist at the university. The biologist, Gayle Callis, happened to take the slides to a veterinary conference, where she set up the ancient samples for others to look at. One of the vets went up to Callis and said, “Do you know you have red blood cells in that bone?” Sure enough, under a microscope, it appeared that the bone was filled with red disks. Later, Schweitzer recalls, “I looked at this and I looked at this and I thought, this can’t be. Red blood cells don’t preserve.”
Schweitzer showed the slide to Horner. “When she first found the red-blood-cell-looking structures, I said, Yep, that’s what they look like,” her mentor recalls. He thought it was possible they were red blood cells, but he gave her some advice: “Now see if you can find some evidence to show that that’s not what they are.”

What she found instead was evidence of heme in the bones—additional support for the idea that they were red blood cells. Heme is a part of hemoglobin, the protein that carries oxygen in the blood and gives red blood cells their color. “It got me real curious as to exceptional preservation,” she says. If particles of that one dinosaur were able to hang around for 65 million years, maybe the textbooks were wrong about fossilization.

There was no bone. Real live actual dinosaur bone would be a miraculous find, and THAT would be the headline. Now sometimes it is called “bone” or “bones” and that might throw your minimal cognition - but they are actual fossils - they are not bone. But creationists have to lie to present a reasonable case - because the facts are against them.

But I guess it would be too much to ask for a geocentrist like yourself to either know or care to accurately represent the actual state of things.

You can go on pretending that there was no bone, but her testimony in the interview that was the back bone of the article proves you to be a liar.

Also the remarks of her assistant, in describing actual flexible medular shives is unmistakable.

Yes, it demolishes your world view, but that was never based in reality anyway. Live with it.

Her “testimony” is that the T-rex fossil was millions of years old. Like I keep telling you, any actual BONE from a dinosaur would be a find unto itself; THAT would be the headline!

Now why is it that there are not any actual bones found from dinosaurs? Why is it that they all seem so extensively fossilized?

Now if they found any actual bone, an immune reaction to collagen would hardly be surprising; let alone a ground breaking publication by Dr. Schweitzer. Actual bone has collagen as a major component. So detecting it in actual bone would be .... yeah, so?

Creationists must lie as a necessity, because the facts are so against them everywhere they turn. Radioisotopic decay, starlight, geology, paleontology, and molecular biology; none of which is even slightly consistent with the young Earth and simultaneous creation de novo of all species.

Your world view is that the Sun circles the Earth, which is not even slightly based upon reality.

Are you just stupid, and unable to read simple english?

Or are you a liar?

They both state that they found actual bone, and actual blood vessels, and heme, which is one of the most perishable substances there is.

Give up donkey.

Any finding of actual bone would be groundbreaking, and getting an immune reaction for collagen from actual bone wouldn't be worthy of a publication; let alone the groundbreaking publication that Dr. Schweitzer put out.

What was amazing is that she found a collagen immune reaction from a FOSSIL. Finding it in bone wouldn't be amazing at all.

But of course you have to lie and fool yourself. You are a Geocentrist. A lot of reality has to be denied in order to serve your Geocentrist delusions.

You love to look like a fool, don’t you!

The article is there for all to read, and you continue to dispute the facts stated there. A f’n mule!

A fool who thinks an immune reaction to collagen from bone would be a groundbreaking finding? No, that fool would be YOU.

A fool who thinks the Sun orbits the Earth? No, that fool would be YOU.

A fool who thinks that humans lived beside dinosaurs Fred Flinstone style. That Yabba Dabba Doo doo would be YOU!

Finding an immune reaction to collagen from bone would be about as surprising as finding salt in the ocean. Can you deal with that fact? No, you cannot. All you can do is lie and spin and call it bone, when everyone who knows anything about the subject knows it was a fossil.

Finding collagen in a fossil = AMAZING!

Finding collagen in a bone = so what?

So why again was Dr. Schweitzers finding so amazing? Because it found a collagen immune reaction from a FOSSIL, not a BONE.

Now why is it that we only find dinosaur fossils and not bones again?

Why was it that Dr. Schewitzer tested the fossil using an antibody against ostrich collagen again? Oh yes, because she accepts the evolutionary evidence that birds are the closest living relations to dinosaurs.

But go ahead and lie and try to fool yourself. You must engage in a lot of it to be a real live Geocentrist in this day and age. Lots of data to ignore and lie about to get to that position!

Since we spend considerable time trying to understand this fascinating universe that was created, however it might turn out to be, the result is that less and less of the simplistic stories of multiple uneducated people collected in a Book after a Committee decided to throw out quite a number of such stories that did not add up to a consistent story to satisfy the political needs of the Emperor Constantine are of any interest to us. Nor will they ever be.

AMEN!!!!!

You have lost this argument a long time ago.

The written article speaks for itself.

You speak with a sick mind and a rabid tongue.

We all laugh at you daily.

You are insane.

You have refused to even attempt to understand the argument.

Getting an immune reaction to collagen in bone is about as surprising as detecting salt in the ocean.

Getting an immune reaction to collagen from a FOSSILIZED bone is an amazing discovery.

Can you understand why? No, probably not.

You know I could really not hope for a better illustration of what an intellectual dead end creationism is than a real live specimen of a geocentrist! Thanks for your invaluable contribution towards showing what idiocy (and lies and avoiding dealing with the truth) one must engage in to be a creationist.

I understand far more than you want to recognize.

You’re making a huge strawman in hopes of diverting readers attention away from the article that contains info you don’t want seen.

Your rejection of the real world is crippling you.

BTW, every believer in Jesus Christ is a “Geocentrist, because the creation is Geocentric as he declared. Unbelievers of course cannot understand what it even means.

Not many “believers in Jesus Christ” then by your insane criteria, because there are very few Geo-centrists.

Well then, if you understand then please tell me why a collagen immune reaction from bone would be a groundbreaking discovery!

To review for those of you from Rio Linda or a Flat Earth....

Bone has, as a major component, collagen. So an antibody reaction to collagen from bone would surprise exactly nobody.

Fossilized bone has, as a major component, minerals. So an antibody reaction to collagen from a fossil is an amazing find.

But of course you cannot deal with this bit of reality because it shows what a foolish lie you have continued with in post after post.

And the test proved what it was intended to do:
That it was indeed bone. - Wow!

No moron. The immune reaction to collagen didn't prove that this fossil was bone; but indicated that there might be trace amounts of collagen fragments in the fossil.

If the fossil were actual bone, you would be able to isolate and sequence the collagen. If the fossil were completely rock, you wouldn't see the immune reaction.

The immune reaction was consistent with there being either preserved collagen in the fossil (the interesting result), or perhaps contamination or a false positive (not yet completely ruled out).

Dr. Schweitzer wouldn't be having a hard time showing that her reaction to antibodies against collagen shows that there is collagen there- if the actual sample itself (a T-rex femur) were bone and had, as a major component, actual collagen.

Think about that for a second please. With you it might take several seconds. Heck, take all the time you need. Hours even. If a T-Rex femur were actual “bone”, about 30% of it would be collagen. WOW. That would be POUNDS of collagen! Pounds of it. And yet all Dr. Schweitzer can get is an antibody reaction? Either she is an absolute incompetent, or you are, once again, misrepresenting actual science.

Really you would have to be a complete moron to think that an actual bone needs to have its collagen detected via an antibody response; or that a collagen response from bone would be any sort of a groundbreaking result.

But then again one would have to be a COMPLETE MORON to think the Sun circled the Earth.

I guess you really are that confused - amazing.

You need to follow the current state of the project, since all the evidence recently gathered indicates that the entire specimin is 100% bone and tissue with no foreign matter.
