God I’d love to see a fan face plant that took about 3 sq m of skin off, but didn’t interfere w/ riders.
Does that make me a bad person? ;>)

As young as these two are we should have some epic battles for years to come
To: commish
Amazing race between these two!

From Twitter - @TdFLanterne The Guardian: “the two finest riders in the world are chased by a man, trousers round his ankles, baring his wobbling buttocks”

If Andy improves at TT it will be truly amazing. It looks like a draw these days on the mountains.

Would it be bad sport to hope AC punctures or goes down during the TT? LOL

I thought I was the only one... Well that’s disappointing, at least he got two stage wins. It’s a shame that a chain is probably the difference between winning and losing.
Hesjedal sure rode a great tour getting 4th today.
To: commish
I think the poetic thing would be a chain slip.

Was hoping for an Andy GC/Youth double to match Merckx, Hinaut, Ullrich, and Contador’s.
W/ no disaster, Andy will match Ullrich’s 3 consecutive White jerseys.

Have a great day guys. Time to get some work done.
To: Todd Kinsey
GC top 5
1 Contador (AST)
2 Schleck (SAX) +0:08
3 Sanchez (EUS) +3:32
4 Menchov (RAB) +3:53
5 Van Den Broeck (OLO) +5:27
Menchov is a better TTer than Sanchez, so the battle for the final podium spot will be as interesting as the battle for first.

Would it be bad sport to hope AC punctures or goes down during the TT?Heck no, we're operating under modified prison rules now - as long as we don't fantasize about AC geting hurt we're good.
After all, we learned from none other than Alberto Cabrónador himself that mechanical mishaps are fair game for exploiting so, by all mens, hope away!!!!

Sanchez added 8” more on Menchov. Amazing, really, after the crash earlier.
He may have been running on pure adrenalin today, tho, and drop off tmw. He’s gonna be mighty sore.

Did you catch the very quick glance of the
Devil.....
He’s a tour de france stalwart with his red tights, pitchfork, and grey beard...........
Good to see he’s still around.

Wow! that was amazing to watch, I can't even pedal up the little hill to my house ... so happy to see Andy get the win, it was nice to see him & AC hug at the end -- even tho' the cynic in me wondered if that was "encouraged" to make him more popular, along with the "Contador almost died" sob story and the announcers emphasizing that "he apologized to Andy" (repeated at least twice) and calling him a "class act" several times and just now they were "wondering if Contador let Andy win it at the end today". Sorry, still don't like the guy & I wouldn't be sad if he had a disastrous time trial.
Would LOVE to know what Andy said to Alberto after he caught back up when AC tried to break off and they were side by side for a bit.
