No, I know it hasn’t because I saw it myself and it caused drama...but it’s escalating with this skank he’s hanging with and his recent notification that he can’t re-enlist. And my daughter was there to buffer the kids...she’s not there to watch now.
On a brighter note, the Judge kicked the booty of the skank and skank-in-law-wannabe’s....
Is it escalating or are you just being allowed to see more? Tread with care and don’t let your emotions take control. Keep in mind that in order for an abuser to be able to abuse he must have control.
He had control over your daughter for probably a long time. Its not easy to unravel that. Also, because of your emotions and past he has control over you. Her children are going to be confused because what was allowable before is no longer being tolerated by your daughter. For an abuser its all about control and the fear of losing it. When he is losing control he will attempt to use those things which worked in the past like bursts of anger and possibly violence. If he can get you or your daughter to get angry he has accomplished his goal by controlling your emotions.
I know you are all on red alert reacting to his immediate bursts of anger but this is not a sprint. This is a long term marathon and their will be scars on the children which he can capitalize on later.
He does not have control over me, and what he had over my daughter is gone. She did turn into someone else, she wasn’t herself at all. Now, the old girl is back.
And yes, it is escalating because his life is starting to unravel.
