Good for you! Firecrackers are legal here at the holidays. We had some fountain-crackers and other stuff at the fourth, and the nextdoor neighbor went to South Carolina and got giant commercial airbursts, which are illegal in North Carolina but oh well. I think someone complained, but no police turned up. Maybe he’ll get a warning note.

I made some 300gr FF blackpowder salute charges for my Dad's blackpowder mortar.
Apparently, I could have toned them down to 200gr. They were rather loud, although I wasn't there to witness this first hand.

They de-criminalized most fireworks here in MN. As long as it doesn't fly up into the air, like most bottle-rockets, you are good to go.
Not sure they'd let me get away with making Tannerite "fireworks" though...

Nope. The test passed as well. Was testing my home connections latency.

It was a good movie, at least! I try to watch any movie with Morgan Freeman in it, as I know he will be an excellent character, good or E-vil.
I seldom name “things” but often, a name is the easiest way of referral. “My old Toyota truck didn’t need gear oil,” vs. “Miss Daisy didn’t need gear oil.”

Have you spoken with Darksheare about your penchant for ‘splodie things? A lot in common, there.... ;o]

I tried to text you but your phone is “off” I suppose. Anyway, the post orifice “suppliesed” me with two welcome things: one from you, one from the utilities commission which will last through most of the nest year.
Anyway, I’m back. While the PC was down, I watched the “Half-Blood Prince.” I hope the release date for the DVD’s of the first “Deathly Hallows” is around Christmas.
Of course, with todays movie, I saw all the super-extended-director’s-cut-super-duper-swisher-swasher HP DVD’s that are available, and of course, I had the Instant Hongries for the first two.
The good Lord willing, and the creek don’t rise, I may be able to get them on Amazon after January 2011. I hope. One at a time. Same as with LOTR.

If it has a potential for being ‘splodie, I suspect Darks will concoct it. Somehow. Probably in the Lower Levels, with DC as an accomplice/mentor. Not for certain, but the zombies, dwarves and dust bunnities may be goaded into service.

Splodey lawnmower, check.
Splodey weedwhacker, check.
Splodey coffeepot, check.
Splodey electric razor, check.
Splodey window fan, check.
Splodey airpump, check.
Splodey typos, often.
It’s about time for the dwarves to do their ritual earwax removal.
DC can explain that one.
I’m told that some are still suffering ringing ears.
