The ‘Face is becoming tired. Stamina is at a premium, here, so I may soon head for the Blanket Show.
The oil and filter in my truck were changed this morning, but the tranny, for some unknown reason, required not a drop of gear oil, even though the gasket is compromised.
*sigh*
I don’t unnerstand truck-like mechanical things.

I was afraid the tranny would freeze up, since I didn’t have the right metric wrench to get the fill plug to turn. But the guy said fluid leaked out when he took the plug out, so I took the 5 qts of gear oil back to Walmart.
Last time it was checked, it took 4 qts and I was really apprehensive this time.
I can’t afford a new “anything” on Miss Daisy, so I just try to baby her wherever and whenever I can. She pays me back: When I get out on the interstates, and cruise at 75+, she gives me 29 mpg, even as old as she is. :o]
