It fits! Great picture.

Family has gone to the pool, leaving me with poorly baby and sad dog. Frank needs to go 24 hours without fever before I’ll expose the public to him, or vice-versa.

The minus fever thingy was my rule-of-thumb when my kids were small. The morning after no fever the night before was the morning they could go to school.

As long as there is a fever, I consider the person contagious. Me too!

No trips here to book.

Lucky you.

Yes, the throwing up could just be not chewing well enough, but a fever means Germs.

Ash is appreciating our attention, anyway, and the guy just called about fixing the back door. The lawyer was supposed to call yesterday; I will have to try him tomorrow.

Sorry, kids. My son called. It’s the first time in almost a year that we’ve had a good talk - 1 hr and 15 minutes. I was waiting for UPS to come and pick up this part to send back, and the battery on my phone is so wonky that I didn’t dare take the incoming call while on with my son.

It was the local UPS office saying the “address was incomplete.” My akinbak! Plain as day, it’s on the package!!

Anyway, seems my son and I both have had a run of disappointments and discouragements in the last four months, so we commiserated. Sad to say, he’s no longer engaged, his house A/C went out, ($6000), the A/C on his Beemer is going (temperamental) and he just bought a “new” VW to “play” with.

I don’t feel so bad, now....

Anyway, I’m waiting for a callback from UPS and then I’m going to bed.

See you all tomorrow!

Yah, I've had days like that.

UPS, they're the union outfit, right?

We're completely A/C-less now with the failure in LoM's car (and I gather the youngest sionnsareen's). None in my car, none in the house -- but with the weather we've got, who needs it? I was thinking about closing up the house and turning on the heat a few days ago, but that was just my being ill.

Sorry about your son's engagement, but better now than later! (I think about the marriages from hell I could have wound up in, but those young ladies were always watching out for my best interests and left me available for the lovely and bright LoM! *\;-)

I count my blessings: Even the job with way too much travel -- this week I may have managed to sucker persuade a couple of co-workers to partake of some of same. *\>:^)

Remind me to never come visit! I thought it took weeks and months or more to get from filing charges to initiating the trial, and you can do it... in a day?!?!?!

Funny - the first time I heard the phrase, I thought it actually said, “There’s a nap for that.” I just never related it to the Real Nappers.

Needless to say, it’s pretty doggone funny!!

Good morning!

A nap is the cure for what ails you.

We’re off to the library, followed by Walmart. Out of milk, bread, and eggs again.

I have to wait for the UPS man, which may be an all day job. I need to go to the PO, but have decided to try not to be impatient.

I could also use some milk and some yogurt. And instant breakfast.

A nap is what I need this morning. The boss might not agree.

Just got Frank to sleep, after the library and Walmart trip. Bill made a stink about coming along, but when he got to the library and found he had six CDs in, he was glad he was there. I would have checked out one or two for him and returned the rest!

Mother DOES know best! LOL!

In my talk with my son last night, I asked him what he wanted for Christmas. He wanted “all three seasons of ‘Taxi.’” In checking Amazon this morning, there are five. One at a time.

I’m still waiting for UPS. My patience is running thin. Of course, these days, with my truck laid up, I’m not a happy camper, and Cabin Fever is quite a nasty reality.

*blargh*

So do I. I also want my truck fixed yesterday. But all I can do is try to stay busy and wait.

*sigh*

Ya wanna stay busy? I’ll send you the document I am trying to digest right now. It’s only 39 pages long but it is dense! As am I this morning... Only up to page 13.

Normally, I’d love to help! Unfortunately, my attention span is about 1/2” long, so anything I do shouldn’t require more than five minutes to execute.

My brems are slightly scattered right now.
