Massachusetts conservatives consider Free Republic a sanctuary. Many of us still enjoy a good tea party.

Thank you.
Frank threw up. I hope tomorrow is another day.

There’s a place for tea, in a well-ordered life.

"Isnt that in Wyoming, site of a proposed oil field (?) that created a scandal in the Ulysses S. Grant administration?" Wyoming, yes. But it was the Harding Administration. Silent Cal suffered some of the aftermath.
Grant had different scandals.

"Good morning." I'll accept it.
If possible, I'd like a million more just like it as well.
My needs are simple.

Good morning. And I say that with few expectations of what the morning will actually be like.
The rest of the day may be something entirely different.
78 right now, with a high of 98. Chilly. Long pants.

A greeting with a dose of wishful thinking! I’m taking Frank out for a walk before it gets too hot (currently 77 on my beeber). He’s feeling okay right now, after a dose of Motrin earlier this morning.
We sort of slept, usually on the floor. I’m not used to that!

Thank you for the welcome oh keepers of the undead thread.
A private message bomb from a zotted troll lead me to the inner sanctum....like a throw back to playing “Below the Root” on my computer in the 80’s.

I think my husband had that game. People with computers in the 1980s tended to be rather nerdly ...

People with computers in the 1980s tended to be rather nerdly ...Yeah,lol, but didn't Matthew Broderick break the nerdy mold with "War Games"? Oops, that's still nerdly-ish - well, there was always 'Tron'....darn,I think I'm still digging that hole...

LOL! I saw “Tron” with my brother, so we must both have still been in high school.

Last night, I finally, mostly, slept.
This morning, I’ve already washed two loads of clothes. Now I don’t want to hang them up.
Floors are good to sleep on!! They all feel the same, and I was never good at sleeping in beds that were not my own. The floor at your house feels much the same as my house. Or my son’s house. Or my daughter’s. :o])

Good for you, sleeping! Frank has gone back to sleep after our walk.
I have laundry in the dryer that I should check on, and I also need to light a fire under Bill, last seen lying on his beanbag chair “getting ready to mow the lawn.”

You have no idea how truly close you are.
We, of the Flying Castle, have tricked out a troll thread from six years ago, and have been moving and improving ever since.
If you care to explore it, great. Just be wary of the Lower Levels. Darks and DC have some er...experiments going and the walls and doors tend to shift. Sometimes. Often. Take a guide as a map will do you no good down there.
Bob can ‘splain the rest of the place to you. Or maybe TC and DC can fill you in on the grounds. sionnsar has staked out the upper deck for his piping practice, and I kinda hang out in the library.
:o]
Again, welcome!

Bill’s hormones are causing his “preparation” mode prior to exercise. It’s why bigger byos sleep so much. Boys seem to suffer from it more than girls, but still...there is a reason why teens sleep. Their bodies are changing during the sleeping, just as a baby’s does, or as a person who has been injured does. Sleep heals.
But I’m sure you know all that anyway. I just wrote it in case someone with not so many offspring was needing the information.
*grin*
