Apparently she was beaten so badly, they thought at first she was stabbed multiple times. That could be why.

If anyone watched CNN last night they would have another angle to look at. An interview was done with a female who claimed to have been the longtime lover of the victim. She stated that the victim had absolutely no interest in men. I think that the victim’s rejection of Sloot’s advances was the impetus behind the murder.
I don't think Joran is a nice man. He is involved in illegal activity (i.e.; human trafficking) . He was set up by others in this case. The conspirators used him to attempt a kidnap/ransom/extortion plot on a daughter of a wealthy/influential citizen. I am not accusing the legitimate government. He was their PATSY! Keep an open mind.

I don't think he planned on killing her when he brought her up to his room. It doesn't make sense. One's own hotel room is one of the worst possible places to commit murder. A deserted beach late at night (such as they have in both Lima and Aruba) is much better. I think he flew into a psychotic rage and simply couldn't keep himself from killing her.
IOW, his story of how it happened is probably true. He goes out to get coffee and bread. She opens his computer to check her email or Facebook account, then googles him out of boredom. Uh oh! About then, he returns, she confronts him, and he explodes and kills her. Then, realizing the mess he's in, he pays for two weeks' additional stay, instructs the hotel staff to stay out of his room, and flees.
This albi might have held up if she had her clothes on.
According to reports, she was not sexually assaulted.
One additional mystery is why she went to his room in the first place, given she was gay.

As we all know, a false confession can be induced. Maybe he was threatened. Perhaps his life is in danger.
Time will tell. Talk about a "rush to judgment". You are all forcibly recused from potential jury duty!
I think he could have been framed. Three days in custody, then a confession? I think it is possible.
But I don’t think he was framed in re: the sex trafficking, I don’t think he was framed about the extortion of Natalee’s mom, and I don’t think he was framed into his semi-confessions about what he did to Natalee.
So I sort of don’t care whether he was framed or not in this case. I am just glad he is out of the general population of the world. Even if Natalee’s death was an accident of some kind, and even if he was framed -

He has already confessed. Maybe he framed himself.
If he had her targeted, why did he carry out the hit in such a totally incompetent, career-ending, hopefully life-ending fashion?
