I believe it has been reported Obie was 8 pounds at birth,,,
Excuse me for kibitzing, but since I am the one who asked for the measurement, I can say that I took it to mean that he wanted to make sure his measurements were correct. So he measured again. I am grateful that he took this care and answered my question so fully. (I still think that 3 inches is sort of big for a newborn foot length.)
Last night I found my record of measurements that I made of the birth certificate in the past and also made new measurements from the birth certificate last night to make sure that I was correct.
What does this sentence say? Why are you challenging why he made the measurement again? He clearly states why.
I keep notes. That's what good researchers do.
Also, stop with the word play (lie) about birth records in Kenya prior to 1971. You Kim proved nothing but assuring all of us that you have the brain power equivalent to that of a bird.
Let me make is simple for you:::::: African births were not registered in most parts of Kenya until it became mandatory in 1971 (some places in 1964 the practice started).
You get in bird brain, NO REGISTERING of African births.
I don't care if you find 100 Africans online that claim that they were born in 1950 in Kenya and have a birth certificate. If they have one then this is what they have:
A. A hospital birth record from Kenya from their birth year.
B. A birth certificate granted to them by the Kenyan government that is NOT based on registration in the year of their birth. The Kenyan would need to demonstrate some sort proof (the “some evidence rule”) that he or she was born in Kenya. e.g., affidavit from family, hospital record, pictures, anything that would suggest birth in Kenya).
You got it now? And stay of my forum at InspectorSmith. You're like a girl that wont take no for answer. I don't like you, so stop pursuing me, OK?
Find some friends while you're at it.
PS. Once again, this response to you was only made at request of another two members of FreeRepublic. So don't expect more replies you thirsty little troll.
Still waiting for a picture of a birth certificate issued in the Protectorate of Kenya or the Colony of Kenya. What's the matter, can't find everything online? Looks like you'll have to brave the great outdoors and go out in public and face the real world in order to marshal together evidence.......
or...let me guess.....you'll just photoshop a birth certificate and put in online at Scribd.com and Photobucket.com like you did twice before?
What is your immigration status? What do you do in the US? What is your field of expertise?
thanks

No problem Genoa, I understood that.
But don’t you think it’s curious that Lucas believes he must validate a document he didn’t issue himself ?
Well, I see the chart, but it still seems big to me. Wish I had me a newborn.
I’m not so curious about you.
No, he was taking measurements after being requested to do so.
your last post is your personal opinion based upon flawed reasoning. Not facts.
7 pounds 1 ounce according to the BC.
But couldn’t he have answered: they gave me the certificate, I didn’t verify the measurements ?
Im not so curious about you.
You are attempting to discredit someone and a document and you are doing a poor job of it. Simply answer some questions about yourself and why you are here if you want to give an iota of credibility to your one man vendetta. You are either failing to understand what people have pointed out to you or you are ignoring them on purpose. I think I asked you some reaonable questions in order to try and understand your position.
Thanks I was waiting for someone to correct me....Mik missed his chance.
sorry rs but I believe your questions are malicious and not pertinent. My personal story is of no interst in this context.
I have raised some very simple questions specific to the topic. I see you don’t ask personal questions to those you agree with. So it’s not your general attitude. If you change the tone and if you wish so we can start a private conversation.
Ah gee, you're just saying that.
I'm sorry you feel my questions are not pertinent, if you had a better command of the English language you might understand why I asked them. Your logic or arguments are lacking and confusing at best. In my vast experience it seemed likely to me that you are not from this country. It appears you don't understand evidence or how to investigate an issue either. Since you are likely an immigrant either legal or other wise, I find it interesting that you are challenging a birth certificate and I wonder what experience you have along that line.
I have considerable experience as an an investigator and I have seen many documents, both good and bad and I am familiar with many of the procedures used to verify and authenticate documents. If you have experience along these lines I would give more credibility to your challenges and consider your poor use of English as just that and be less inclined to think you are being malicious. Lacking that I give zero notice to your "Gibberish". Obviously like Obama transparency is not your strong point.

Lucas I have provided you with a Court Ruling where a man produced his birth certificate a nd birth notification from 1945.
Since I am the one who provided you the link to the Kenyan rulings you are now mentioning, here is another interesting read for you. Birth Certificates weren’t allways compulsory in the US. But still they existed.
Compulsory Birth and Death Certificates in the united States
by Carl Watner
I hope you will read it.
An understanding of your background in the English language would help explain why you seem so easily confused and quick to accuse.
Information on your nationality can help determine if you have a dog in this fight; or if you even have any business speaking about it at all.
