I suspect yer mum is not nearly as rigid today as she was when you were growing up. Although, I'd still give all I had to hear my mother say one more time, “Are you going out dressed like THAT??? With THOSE people?”

:o]

Independence Day has a whole new meaning for fledglings who have found their wings!

Yah...she showed it to me and I literally fell on the floor laughing. I still laugh when I think about it!

I've seen the lawn mower man on a guy's balding head, right along the hairline.

Only problem is that male pattern baldness is progressive, so pretty sure that little stick man is going to be mowing in the middle of nowhere . . . .

She might want to wear an evening gown when she gets older, though . . . scapula sounds safer than bicep, most evening gowns and even most bathing suits would cover that, if it's towards the bottom.

I never wore shorts until I started dog training in the summer . . .

Nope...not here. And he was running for all he was worth, little chips of grass flying everywhere!

We took Ash with us to Lake Norman last fall, but she didn’t want to go in the water, even if DP was wading. Usually she’ll follow him anywhere!

Tom was about 9, I think, when he got overconfident in rough surf at Myrtle Beach. Got washed out over his head; he could stay afloat but couldn’t make any progress back toward the beach. Even then, he outweighed Anoreth, and I was pregnant, so it took both of us to drag him in ten yards or so until he could touch the bottom. Learning experiences ...

Mine doesn’t show above the bra line, which is why it is where it is. Although, I DO have one Glamor Shot where just the very top part can be barely (*snik*) seen. My daughter and I were in “Biker *itch” leathers, bustiers, and sparkly thingys. Good photo. Wish I still had it...

Life is weird, so Anoreth might, someday, want to wear an evening gown, without a jacket. However, she’d probably also be happy to show ... the Malaysian embassy, or whoever ... her historically-correct Viking ship tattoo. She’s like that.

LOL!

My daughter has a white heart on the web between her thumb and finger. “my body belongs to me” also in white on her wrist. Those are practically invisible against her porcelain white skin (she’s just about the palest non-albino I know, she surely didn’t get those genes from me!) and a pale blue bubble on her inner arm.

I don’t *think* she has any more...

Anoreth has the gift of common sense, which my dad always said wasn’t so doggone common in most people he met, so I’m thinking she will consider all aspects of the tat...how big, where, etc.

Don’t worry...she’s not getting a “’ho-tat.” ;o]

White tattoos ... now that’s funny! I’m very pale - between that and the stretch marks from 11 pregnancies, I could have a map of the river systems of North America and nobody would even notice!

Yeah, she wants to push the limits, but not the point that it’s going to limit *her*. I’m not concerned ... much ;-).

If I had it to do over, and I was 20 years younger, I might consider the lawnmower man. Just because it’s so funny!

I don’t even show the tat that replaced my birthmark, unless the occasion is special. Still don’t know why I showed it to TC...6th sense, maybe? Go figger!

Maybe you’d had a little too much Restorative. Wasn’t it like 2 a.m.?

My mother had nine pregnancies, and lots of river systems, but I don’t recall ever seeing anyone with such porcelain skin, except maybe for my childhood friend, BonGon.

Envy is not easy for me to get rid of....}:o{

I’ll show my tat to anyone when the mood strikes. Well, not men, anyway. And there IS no such thing as “too much” until you have to go puke it up! LOL!

I was going to show you earlier but there were so many people around....:o|

I don't know for sure, but as thin and bony as greyhounds are I bet they swim about as well as rocks.

Even very lean Labs have a substantial layer of fat and they float like corks. Ruby jumped off maybe an 8 foot rock into the quarry pond, went all the way under and just popped right back up. Didn't seem to worry her - she struck out straight across the pond to the other side until I whistled her back (there was NO way out of the water over there).

But when we're at my parents' house she wears a doggie life vest, because they're on a tidal island in the middle of a maze of creeks. You could wind up swimming for a very long time there.
