One of the ships he was on during Vietnam is being used for a traveling Smithsonian exhibit.

"My dad was interviewed by the local LA Fox news channel last night." Did he disavow any knowledge of you or your group's activities?

Have they aired it yet?

Does the magazine thing pay? No, not directly. It's a marketing thing -- more name recognition for me, more name recognition for my employer, maybe more invites to speak at conferences... but money... rarely. And corporate rules make that a hassle.

It aired on Memorial Day. He was the ships chaplain and they used some of his newsletters from the ship for a traveling Smithsonian exhibit the is in San Pedro now. The ship carried troops to and from Vietnam and South Korea. He had been at sea for about nine months when I learned he was consider a HOME missionary by my church. I thought home? then why was he gone so much?

Not really. The trade journal market is very different and they don’t (appear to) have big margins. And name and face recognition can count for a lot.
