So, taking a pill to alter your body’s sexual hormones [reproduction] also alters that body’s sex-drive? Wow!

Someone needs to post pictures of Captain Obvious.

The Pill has been available for over 50 years, and this is just now being proven?

Kinda funny to be taking pills so you won’t become pregnant, but then you don’t want to have sex anyway. Like wearing a life vest in the house.

"a condition most often caused by a lack of desire"
A condition I've most frequently attributed to the incredible ugliness of men.

Taking the pill could be putting women off sex, a new study has claimed.
Ummmm..., I wonder if "E" would offset that? ....

You were saying ...

I hear that a big, fat billfold cures that problem ... :-)

"Female Sexual Dysfunction is a very common disorder, with an estimated prevalence of about two in five women having at least one sexual dysfunction, and the most common complaint appearing to be low desire."And who decides how much "desire" is the right amount? The messages popular culture is sending these days seem to indicate that women should want non-stop sex, and that there's something wrong with them if they don't. Strikes me as more in tune with young male fantasies than with biological reality or a healthy society.

The Pill has been available for over 50 years, and this is just now being proven?Yeah, and we've sure seen plunging rates of sexual activity in young women over that time period. < /s>

The study? Yes, it does. Female sexual interest is correlated with the time of fertility. If you’re never fertile, less sexual interest is probable.

who decides how much "desire" is the right amount? The man involved, of course. The "right amount" is exactly the same level and timing as his ... no fair if she wants to be close friends when he wants to play a computer game.

Cannot prove that at my house. Since my wife stopped being able to become pregnant, she is interested a lot more than before. Maybe its because I have become so much better looking in my middle age.

It seems like the only reason for the women in the study to believe their sexual desire was “low” is that men want them to have sex, but the women don’t want to. Therefore, the women’s desire is “low” compared to the demand being made.
