That was taken when I took Marissa and her brother to Chuck E. Cheese. They were having so much fun that I decided to try it.

No more luck there than at a casino. LOL

I don’t have any luck at casino’s either! Lucky if I go once a year! The casino has a good fifties diner, with good food and a jute box on each table,like way back when!!!! Fun to play old tunes.

That is an old picture of Marissa. I found it while looking for some red type graphics. :)

That was taken when Lori, Marissa and I went to DC for the Inauguration in 2005. FReeper, "Free the Hostages", took us to dinner at The Melting Pot.

Marissa was very interested and engrossed as the waitress explained the different dipping sauces to us.

That was also the first and only time that Marissa saw snow.

We had a ball!!!

That was so long ago. The chocolate was being heated for Fondue. I would like to go to another Melting Pot. Closest one here is in Sacramento.

Marissa was in heaven ... so much chocolate and all of the good stuff to dip in it. :)

Not so much that they are written for the Black keys, is that they are written for the African Style Minor Pentatonic (Five Tone) Scale, which IS the arrangement of the Black Keys on the Piano (ha ha ha). So it's just a coincidence that they happen to be Black! LOL.Early Keyboard instruments had the colors reversed! But you are right. There is nothing more poignant or mournful than the minor pentatonic!

I forget sometimes that Marissa has grown up and we need some recent pix of her. She is a pretty little girl!

I bet that was a fun trip in 2005 for all of you. And how nice of the FReeper taking you to the Melting Pot. Yummm!

I bet she enjoyed seeing snow. If she lived here, she would get tired of it...no, I take that back, kids don’t get tired of snow ever, especially if school closes....even though they have to make up the days missed at end of school. They used to not have to do that when my kids were young!

I am getting ready to watch a little t.v....I’m tired even though I got a nap...! Have a good evening. Its about 6:30 there and 9:30 here, big difference!!
