Thank you for your sweet, sweet post also. I am just having to start over on this thread with today's opening; haven't looked in on it for too many days to even try to catch up. For over a week, I would log on, log off, log back on, and back off - just trying to get a better connection, but it didn't happen until yesterday when it was finally back to normal.
I only checked regular email and didn't get a chance to check in. It's been a crazy week. Painters outside all day long for a week and a half - even had to put a leash on my dog just to take him out to potty because he's so rambunctious and nosey and wants to check out every little thing that's out of the ordinary - like ladders and men and tools and the tires on their vehicles!
The weather has been extra weird and right after the painters left and we had everything all spruced up and pretty outside, we had the fiercest winds it was scary! We hurried out to get the hanging baskets and pots off the columns of the fence around the courtyard so they wouldn't be destroyed. As it was, the next day my husband and I spent almost all day long picking up broken branches and leaves, and cutting the branches up for the dumpster - which brings me to the next story lol! I was opening one of the two lids to the dumpster (they're heavy tin so they don't flop in the wind), and the lid fell back down on my arm; got 3 of the most humongous bruises I've ever seen - one being right on the funnybone (but it isn't funny - it hurts!)
BUT...........I'm fine, all is well, it's a beautiful day today, and I'm happy to be here, cruising along at my usual lightning speed. :)
