Either the British use different rules than we Americans regarding verb-adverb agreement, or the title of this piece has a grammatical misprint. In the states it would read "Cook-book misprint costs Australian publishers dearly"

rmlew - I thought the same thing when I read it but since we aren’t suppose to change the title, I left it. But it was really hard not to add that -ly.
