Chris needs to be by himself. I listened to half an hour with he, Andy and Nehman and it’s a little awkward. Chris has to be too polite.
Citadel Broadcasting destroyed WABC in NYC two years ago, now they are aiming to destroy WMAL.
Well, that’s one half of the Dynamic Duo back. Now, if they want to get out of my “Die, Corporate Scum” penalty box, they will hire Andy back as well.
It was a bad mix.
Parks already provided the perfect foil to Grandy.
It was stupid to mix it up with someone else.

This info was posted on a blurb on DCRTV.com’s Mailbag section today.
This is your opportunity to “Bitch & Moan” about how all these changes have affected us, the listener, and how we want Andy Parks back!

BTW, I listened to Fred and Nehman this morning, and it wasn’t bad-—just like when Andy went on vacation. But “The Grandy Group” is a terrible name for the show-—who came up with that? Surely not Fred...

I’m Puerto Rican, so I have plenty to “Bitch & Moan” for on a daily basis.

‘The Grandy Group’ is a quick name made up within a day or two. Maybe they’ll change it in the future. I’m glad Chris is out of the early morning drive. What a complete disaster that short experience was...

Nothing is “permanent” when it comes to programming an AM radio station.
Just look at the changes for DC’s old 1260-AM stand-by:
Over the years the station changed calls from WOL to WWDC to WGAY to WWRC.
And more recently, the format has changed from “Beautiful Music” to “CNN Headline News” to “Air America” to “Obama 1260” to “Red Chip Radio” and now to “Salem Rightwing Talkers.”
Well, at least the last incarnation is something a few FReepers might approve (if, unlike me, they can pick up the station’s weak signal).
But don’t be surprised if the format is totally different six months from now!

Chris was totally tongue in cheek. I just don’t know what to Bitch and Moan about when they made things right. Then again I ain’t Puerto Rican :-O
If by some miracle they see the error of their ways and bring Andy back, I’ll return. In the meantime, I’ll stay with John McCaslin on WTNT 570. If I wasn’t at work by then I’d tune in to Chris; otherwise the only WMAL program I listen to now is Mark Levin.
