Okay, Cleveland may not be the world’s premier city and our weather sucks big time, but it has some good things going for it.
That said, I would like to get to a warmer climate near the beach soon.. & yes I know about hurricanes!
They are probably just observing Detroit.....from a SAFE distance. Nothing worse than landing on a strange planet and getting your mothership “jacked”.
I heard about this great beach out west that stretches for mile between Las Vegas and San Diego. No hurricanes there and the land is fairly cheap.
I hear you almost never have a cloudy day and it always warm.
For some reason they gave it the rather ominous name of Death Valley.

That’s logical. We’re fascinating, but icky. Could be worse, we could be a colony gone native and they just can’t figure out who/what is who/what anymore.
Or- they could be the intergalactic paparrazzi and somewhere there’s a tabloid with shocking pics of single-headed monstrosities( us) that make the photographers a fortune.
My problem with ‘lights in the distance’ is that one person’s distance is another person’s close-up; and that never seems to happen.
No offense to Cleveland meant- especially from someone in New Orleans! It’s above water, and you don’t stay packed to evacuate every year.
Something about middle America and out-of-the-way places seems to draw UFO’s. What you got that we don’t know about, hmmmm??? lol.
Lemme put it this way- if you had the fastest form of transportation in the world, and the ability to go anywhere- would you pick Cleveland?
When I was in college, I worked nights for the U.S. government. One night, after a couple of nights of UFO’s in the sky over our city, I was standing outside, taking a break. Sure enough, there it was, the golden lights tne eerie movements. And it was coming our way. I jumped in my car and chased the thing down. Fortunately it held off going to warp speed while my pathetic little car hit 50 MPH. Then it went down, a la Roswell. Expecting to come up on a crashed mechanical craft with little green guys moaning and dying and all, I came up instead on a plastic dry cleaning bag braced with a wire coat hanger that was rigged to carry two medium sized candles. (Some witnesses had reported burning flame dropping from the UFOs on previous nights.) The heat of the candle would cause the bag to rise and frighten the citizens of our city up in the midnight hours. The whole incident didn’t work out well for me. I had to give up the idea of writing a best selling book on the crashed Phoenix UFO and had to work another two years to finish college.

Found out why I couldn’t get it to play.
Opened it in 64 bit IE8.
No flash player for 64 bit yet. Sigh.
Got it to play under the regular IE8
Can’t get it to play in IE8 64 bit because there’s no flash player for that yet.
Managed to get it to play in the old IE.
