We now own the freerepublic.net domain name again. We originally registered it, then gave it to Free Republic Network when they started up, and then got it back again after they folded. Free Republic Network was a separate entity. I was not on its board. It was totally independent from FR.

I totally lost respect for him years ago when we had the Free Mugs for Monthlies and we had a logo contest. Well, I won the contest, and then I talked to BobJ on the phone and he was like oh yeah Jim R likes it so much he’s going to change the FR logo to what you designed and he said some other stuff that turned out to be not true. And then the guy that made the mugs was selling a bunch of stuff with my FR artwork on it so I had to tell him hey you can’t make money off my design just because you have it from making the mugs.
