Assuming there are Aliens:
They are probably so advanced in terms of technology, and intelligence, we more than likely cannot conceive what their real intentions would be.
I would say they would be peaceful beyond comprehension, because obviously they could destroy us very quickly if they wanted to.

If aliens have visited us and made contact with our leaders, it would be the best kept secret of all time. All we have now re the existence of UFO’s is speculation - no official documents or photos. If they have made contact with us, and there is no reason to believe that the contact would only be with the USA, NO ONE in the world has ever leaked this? EVERYONE, from ALL COUNTRIES, has kept this a secret. this would mean that the entire world has had the same motive for secrecy fir the past 60 years, which is not true.

Right. They are going to spend time and money (or whatever they use for trade) to come here to save us from ourselves. Not save us. They fear that Earth will discover Solarbonite bomb, which can destroy the universe.
