Studies involving rats have found that the amount of fiber (both insoluble fiber and pectin) found in almost two medium sized apples (about 6 ounces a piece) is able to lower total cholesterol by up to 10% and raise HDL cholesterol by about 10%.

It will likely do that at first, which actually makes a lot of sense, because a quantity of free bile will give you the runs. Had you kept it up, however, after an initial few times, you would have depleted a lot of your available excess stored bile, and had just smaller quantities of fresh bile. Your movements would have normalized.
That much bile in the feces also probably made it stink to high heaven.
On the plus side, if you had high cholesterol, you might lop 50 points off your total in a month.
