Great post Jaycee and may the luck of the Irish be there with you and your family!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To: Billie
That is a great song. One I haven’t heard in years! His voice sounded so innocent back then. How things changed, eh?

Tiapam, thank you, my dear friend!
I know what you had to go through to
1. Find the graphic
2. save the graphic
3. go to “Icanhascheezburger.com” and uploading your saved picture.
4. Change the font size there
5. Type your message there, spacing it all - top and then bottom
6. Then saving it (giving it a new ‘name’)
7. Then going to TinyPic to save it AGAIN
8. Then finding Amy’s Place, and deciding where to post it
9. Then, using all the brackets (< >) for font size and font color
10. And, not forgetting the < p’s >> and the < br’s > and < b’s>
11. ALL WITHIN THREE MONTHS OF BEING ON A COMPUTER!!!!
12. And, last, but not least - this is something nobody knows but me: (until now)
BUT................YOU FORGOT TO CLICK “POST”, and you signed off the computer!
I will never forget the frustration and AGONY over that!
But, ya did GOOD girl. You re-did it all over again, and it is a PERFECT post for St. Patrick’s Day!
Thank you, tiapam.

REST IN PEACE, FALLEN SISTER!
PFC Erin L. McLyman, USA, KIA Iraq 13MAR2010
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:7 (KJV)
God Of Our Fathers
Rest in Peace, fallen sister, rest in peace! We who remain hold you in high honor. Rest, fallen sister, in this sacred precinct; We who remain keep this place sacred. Rest, fallen sister, among these, your comrades; We who remain keep the watch. Rest, fallen sister, among these who answered the Nations call; We who remain press the fight forward in your name. Rest, fallen sister, lay down thy burden; We who remain have taken up the torch. Rest in Peace, fallen sister, rest in eternal peace!

The Soldier
If I should die, think only this of me: That there's some corner of a foreign field That is forever England. There shall be In that rich earth a richer dust concealed; A dust whom England bore, shaped, made aware, Gave, once, her flowers to love, her ways to roam; A body of England's, breathing English air, Washed by the rivers, blest by suns of home. And think, this heart, all evil shed away, A pulse in the eternal mind, no less Gives somewhere back the thoughts by England given; Her sights and sounds; dreams happy as her day; And laughter, learnt of friends; and gentleness, In hearts at peace, under an English heaven.

tiapam--
You're doing a lot better than me! I've been on a computer for 12 years and still can't post pics!
Of course, I do have a "friend" in Rainbow Bridge that channels through me...and that one can't do anything but waste my time! But that's another story....

Oh my goodness, have we ALL been there and done that!
The most important thing to know, though, is that each time you go through that, it gets easier and easier.
I thought your 'half-Irish' pooch was adorable, tiapam! Since I don't do the "Icanhascheezburger.com" graphics, I really have to congratulate you on doing ALL that on ....what? only your SECOND graphic post, I think, isn't it?
BRAVO!!!
To: yorkie
Thank you, Yorkie. Thank you for the many Irish sayings and blessings that you shared with us today.

Thank you, all of you, for such nice compliments on my St. Paddy's Day post. It's a pared-down post from the last St. Patrick's Day opening I did for
The Finest, so not really new. :)
tiapam, you said: Billie, I dont know exactly what to say, except your post for St. Patricks Day is absolutely beautiful. This is so cool, for green is my favorite color. The dog is adorable, the saying is great and will listen to the music later. And all that glitter. Just loved it! Thank you very much!!!
I know you weren't posting or even lurking at FR until recently, so thought I'd briefly explain what I meant when I mentioned that my post was an 'old' one I made for The Finest. It was a daily thread at FR where several of us posted a whole new thread each day, but our opening posts were longer and even more detailed than the daily openings we do here at Amy's. ALL our opening posts at The Finest involved multiple borders and backgrounds (the way Meg does her Sunday openings with many beautiful borders around the main photo she puts on a beautiful background)
All this to say Thank you again - you are very sweet!
