I’m not sure I get the whole innocence being projected on the white guy who obviously started the fight. The white guy moves to the front of the bus. This is an attempt to disengage.
The black guy comes to the front to re-engage the dispute, and throws the first punch. The one who initiates physical violence is the one who started the fight.

This happened on a AC transit bus in the SF bay area. The guy is known as Epic Beard man now. LOL. He a crusty old dude. He got tasered by the Oakland police last year at an A's game over a dispute over seating.
