Hi again, Jaycee.
I read the poem twice. I think it is someone lost in their own mind .... when someone tried to reach him, he was aware of it but decided to escape again.
Does that make sense?

That is so pretty thanks. Who ever said you grow old gracefully..it hurts.
It was more scary than anything. I'd only had the care less than a year.
You will like this one too.

Thank you Amy. That is such a pretty pink graphic and I especially the love the top of that framing. We stayed around 50 today but a little damp and drizzly. The last couple of days were very sunny and temps stayed around 50-52.....very nice. It was terrific after all the snow and freezing temps we’ve had.
Yellow does look spring, doesn’t it? Just like the sun!!

Thank you, Meg.
That is a beautiful flower. Thank you.
I've missed more of the Olympics this year than I have for many years.
I always enjoy the games but I hate NBC's schedule.
They are on here 8:00 until Midnight.
I need to get to bed before midnight.
Oh well, I will read the sports page. :^)

I love the Olympics...went to sleep at 2am ,, rewatching hockey and Bode...LOL. I don’t have to get up early like you do.
My house needs a lot of TLC that it’s not getting.

Amy, thank you for your lovely graphic. Gee, it looks so
familiar!
Just wanted to let you gals know I am home safely with a new 'do'. (And noooo, she didn't make me look younger, prettier or thinner. And, she promised!)

There were so many analyses of that poem, it blew my mind away! One thought it was someone rather old thinking death would come knocking at any moment and this knock "Could it be death knocking this time?" There were so many it made my head spin.
I did find out something interesting that I didn't know! I had heard Robert Frost read a poem at JFK's inauguration so I asked what poem it was and here's the answer.
"The Gift Outright, he did read it, though with great difficulty. Richard Nixon came and held his top hat to block the sun for Mr.Frost who was extremely old and having problems. He may not have finished it, but he made a heroic effort I will never forget. That was when I found there was such a thing as a poet laurete and determined to become one." Stephen Boone
I found that very interesting. That is my education for today.....LOL!

Hi yorkie! Well, I would just sue the hairdresser 'if she promised'.....LOL~~
I always ask my hairdresser if she can do anything with my face??
So glad you're back safely! Did the snow stop? Usually the main roads get cleared pretty quickly with plows and salt.

The snow is almost all melted, except on the mountianous red rocks. Everything is quite wet - but not slick and slippery - and I was so thankful the snow stopped. On the way to the hairdresser, the radio report was that we may get up to 8" by this afternoon.
When the weather is that bad, I am thankful I am not driving an "O" car!

Correction! I thought you were saying you were glad you were driving the “O” car...when I re-read, you said ‘glad you’re not”.... Can you imagine having a head on in a little car like that?

Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly.
Remember, if a dog was the teacher you would learn things like:
1. When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.
2. Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.
3. Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure Ecstasy.
4. Take naps.
5. Stretch before rising.
6. Run, romp, and play daily.
7. Thrive on attention and let people touch you.
8. Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.
9. On warm days, stop to lie on your back on the grass.
10. On hot days, drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree.
11. When you’re happy, dance around and wag your entire body.
12. Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.
13. Be loyal.
14. Never pretend to be something you’re not.
15. If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.
16. When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by, and nuzzle them gently.

Yeap that did it!!!!
One look and I fell right off my chair. I wouldn’t fit in that thing(!), let alone be seen in one. I’m a pickup driver and will be until they plant me! All it needs is a ‘Motion Indication Device’ to alert folks it might be moving (I’d suggest a large key on the back slowly going around and around!)
