They are rocks, but I don’t speak “nut”, I speak “engineer” and “astronomer”.
Probably why I don’t listen to Hoagland.

Like I say, nature does not do straight lines, Bezier curves, equalateral triangles and the like on two-mile scales, and eye glasses are affordable now. There's no excuse.
Richard Hoagland has no scientific credentials of any kind.
None.
At all.
In fact, I see no evidence he even has a BA in basket weaving. Just a lot of crazy BS.
“Like I say, nature does not do straight lines, Bezier curves, equalateral triangles and the like on two-mile scales, and eye glasses are affordable now. There’s no excuse.”
If you actually look at the real evidence, you’ll see those are clearly natural features. “Wanting to believe” is no excuse for being a nut. This is no different than denying the moon landings.
Like I said, denial is a luxury you can afford when you’re not in any sort of a race; NASA is now in a race.
Apparently it does. Believe what you want about the origin of the rock formation on Mars, but to say that nature doesn't make straight lines is laughable. There are sheer bluffs all over the world, mesas, flat bedrock that turns sideways from geological events... even then, the pictures you posted show clearly a rambling rock formation along the center of the overall formation. If you squint hard enough from directly overhead, you can make it look like a face. Maybe your walmart readers are part of the problem.
The problem’s going to be reading about Indian and Chinese astronauts investigating those structures up close while the NASA guys are either sitting around with their ****s in their hands or are out in some other part of Mars looking for signs of microbes because they’ve somehow brainwashed themselves into believing that the remains of cities aren’t real or that germs are important and cities aren’t. In my scheme of things, cities are more interesting than germs.
“Like I said, denial is a luxury you can afford when youre not in any sort of a race; NASA is now in a race.”
With reality? Kinda like believing in “faces on Mars”?
Reality usually wins that race.
“The problems going to be reading about Indian and Chinese astronauts investigating those structures “
Those aren’t “structures”. Those are rock formations.
“theyve somehow brainwashed themselves into believing that the remains of cities arent real “
Those aren’t cities. Perhaps they aren’t the ones who are brainwashed.
I’m sure it’s all for the best.
Before long some energy corporation would start hiring people for solo three year shifts on the moon, managing equipment and making sure the mining vehicles operate correctly.
Before long, they would realize they could save a bundle by cloning the guy and killing off the clone every three years.
