I see no reason for you to take out your jealousy of our prowess with the ladies, our stylish dress, our dancing abilities and our impeccable hygiene on the select manly group proudly known as “Ham Radio Operators”.

It really didn’t, at least with me. I was just poking fun at myself, and some of the stereotypes of the hobby. I really wasn’t truly suggesting a duel.

I must sheepishly admit that I quite enjoyed the latest “Star Trek” movie! I never was a fan of the various TV series or the old movies, but I watched the latest one because I’m a big fan of the work of J.J. Abrams/Bad Robot Producutions.
