What’s the scam? Took a look at the website and the SureSight seems like a pretty good idea, actually. If the trit version glows like it does in the picture, struck me as pretty innovative.

The scam, which in my opinion was not intended at the beginning of the mess, was that a lot of shooters pre-paid this guy the manufacturing costs of the sights and then never got a product, a refund, or an explanation. If you look over at the glocktalk board thread on this subject, you'll see that many of the buyers are filing or have filed complaints with the California AG and BBB. The disillusionment posts start in August 2008. The producer of the suresights posted as Leibster.

Great idea, and I was really pumped about the product. If it ever showed up in a store or a reputable catalog, I'd buy it immediately.
