-———BREAKFAST-———
Bacon thick and hot, perfect scent of anticipation
Ham Steak glazed in sweet honey and baked to perfection
Sausages fried in maple butter until they cry ‘Eat Me!’
A lean breakfast sirloin slathered in wine sauce sea
Potato Hashbrowns just edged in crispness
Eggs done a turn and fill with goodness
Toasts of many kinds, with butter, jams as well
Cereals hot and cold for you who think it swell
Coffee hot with cream and sweetener on the side
Milk cold and fresh, frothy in the glass abides
Juices fresh squeezed to delight in its own way
Tea, richly made to capture the joy of the day
And for a mid-day treat, a special we keep aside
a pastry of ham and cheeses under sauce to hide
Served with chilled Cranberry or mulled cider light
a gift to the taste-buds to make the morning right!
Hearty Appetite, and No Calories

Good morning, Amy. I’ve been thinking about you.
Good Morning Amy, What a beautiful opening today....its so lovely! If anyone helped with it, I thank them too. Didn’t see any names, etc. I was AWOL yesterday too and will be some this week. Have had a tough few days. Seems things are getting worse and taking pain pills just covers up the pain so that I can stay on my feet, realizing when the medicine wears off, it will be worse. Trying to make it through Christmas and then I must make some decisions on what to do.
I think I could barely see Billie’s name when I searched again so I added her name!
Oh, my....you do know how to lay out a spread! Thanks for sharing your bounty with Amy’s Place!
Thank you so much for including me in your last beautiful post, Meg. I’ve had a rough time and won’t be on the computer much. I will try and check in when I can.
Every single thing you posted yesterday was just so beautiful, I enjoyed every single one. You will have to teach me later how you got that twinkle in your tables! Fabulous!! I always enjoy your work and I love Christmas and want to feel good again. Many thanks for your yesterday’s work!!
As do I. That is Billie's beautiful creation. Thank you, Billie!
Good morning, you two. Have a marvelous Monday.
So darling, Kitty! Thanks~~~
I am so sorry, jaycee. I wish there was something I could suggest to give you some comfort. I will pray for you, sistah.
Hi Lori, I wasn’t sure if it was Billie’s or yours but when I searched, I could barely make out Billie’s name! It was beautiful! Hope all is well with you also!
Thank you, dear Lori! Having you and my other FRiends here helps and it makes me mad ‘cause I can’t stay on like always and post, but first things first, I guess. Keep those prayers rising.
Will do, jaycee. You take care.
I didnt think that the hesitation in my car engine and that little yellow check engine light on my dashboard really needed my immediate attention. I sang it away, saying that I would get to it tomorrow. However, the next morning when I turned the key to start my car, it wouldnt start. My first reaction was frustration, knowing that this would mean money, time, and inconvenience. My second thought was more of a resolution: I need to pay attention to warning lights that are trying to get my attentionthey can mean something is wrong.
In Joel 2:12-17, we read that God used the prophet Joel to encourage His people to pay attention to the warning light on their spiritual dashboard. Prosperity had caused them to become complacent and negligent in their commitment to the Lord. Their faith had degenerated into empty formalism and their lives into moral bankruptcy. So God sent a locust plague to ruin crops in order to get His peoples attention, causing them to change their behavior and turn to Him with their whole heart.
What warning lights are flashing in your life? What needs to be tuned up or repaired through confession and repentance?
Always happy to cook for this bunch, too bad the only ones who tastes it is my Lady and I most times.
31.And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:
32.But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren>>>p>
” ... Satan desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:
" ...But I have prayed for thee, ..."
O to have Jesus pray for us, that our faith not fail. Father help us in our day, in Jesus name, amen.
” ...The apostle Paul laid out the condition of the lost with these words: [They have] their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God . . . because of the blindness of their heart (Eph. 4:18). He testified that he had great sorrow and continual grief in [his] heart because his fellow countrymen had not yet come to know the love of Christ (Rom. 9:1-3)....”

Father, You are an awesome God, compassionate, whose mercies are new every morning, full of loving kindness, hear our prayer, asking for grace and a changed heart for the lost, lonely, least, and the broken hearted, drawing them to You, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
We in America, and in reality the whole world is experiencing such a plague, in our government, and we indeed are being devoured by our governments. We are mired in sin,and moral bankruptcy.
God help us in our day, in Jesus name, amen.
God is not to let us go unpunished.
God help us in our day, in Jesus name, amen.
