Doc, the post office I work in has a Dixie Cup Jarhead. This morning I said to him “Happy Birthday”, and he gave me a neck hug and damn near cried. I let him know that we love our corpsmen as much as we love our fellow Marines.

Forgotten Dixie Cup Jarheads, the lost generation. Never completely accepted in the Navy world, never acknowledged in the Marine world.
