It’s so cold outside, I saw a chicken with a cape on.

"Sounds like something Austin Powers would say." It sounds like something I'll never say.
But I will offer this; why hasn't the word "shambling" come to mean fake jewelry?

LOL. My first thought as well. Shagalicious. Shambolic. Love the word though. I am tired of Obama and his SHAMbolic presidency already!!

We’re also looking for a Three Dog Night song to go with today’s word.

Too easy.
Ever see the movie “Drowning Mona”? They used the song in the title sequence. Decent flick for a dark comedy.
To: SoothingDave
never saw it, seems like a lot of famous people in it though.

there are some filth possibilities with this word too, but i will leave that to some of the filth-mongers of the class [you know who you are], as it would be unseemly for me to GO there.

Yeah, it was a whodunit, with everyone in her family and half the town having motive or desire to see Bette Midler’s nasty character’s death.
Plus, the entire town was supposedly a “test market,” so everyone drives a Yugo. How can you not laugh at that?

i brought some refreshments to class today, bc it's Whyisa's 25th wedding anniversary, and i thought we could toast to that, bc she's bound to be thirsty after celebrating... : )

someone may get carried away and say that
this is an indication of the shambolic state of the obams administration, but i ain't going to get my hopes up just yet.

Three Dog Night was in town a couple of weeks ago. I didn’t go but a friend who did said they were great! I thought they would have choked on vomit long ago.
