Yup, love the f1 threads. They often remind me that races are about to commence, as I have a bad memory especially when it comes to schedules, plus he always finds really cool articles about the sport. I wouldn’t have known about the horrific crash that happened awhi.e ago if he hadn’t posted about it. It was a real miracle race that the fella survived with just semi-minor Injuries, though I u derstand his hand got pretty messed up.
Sorry for how I responded, thought you were busting on me. I am thankful for you pointing it out. I react too often before thinking

WTF!
FIA Approves Sprint Qualifying for F1, And Here’s How It Will Work
https://sports.yahoo.com/fia-approves-sprint-qualifying-f1-162900092.html
Sure, let’s tear up our race cars on Saturday with a 100 km sprint race, then a full stint on Sunday.
And since the winner of the sprint race gets pole for Sunday, it puts tremendous importance on the Friday qualifying session to get the Saturday sprint race pole, after only one practice session!
Madness!
Just when we thought they couldn’t screw the canine any more here they go again...

Now let’s take about the low level teams, ability to gain maybe the only point they can all year? Able to gain Huge TV exposure for their sponsors! Nah, no one’s going to risk anything in a short qualifying race..... Don’t bet on it.
100% team orders be damned...
Yep, a low level driver or team which finds itself in the position to score points and be the talk of F1 for 24 hours is going for it! May be the only coverage a driver / team gets all season. There’s the old Nascar story of the team owner telling the driver to spin the car for the 1 minute of coverage. It happens. Look at Micky, knocks front spoiler off and the TV covered his whole slow lap back to the pits! If I was Haas I would of told him to miss the pit entrance so there would be a 2nd slow lap covered on worldwide TV ;)
LOLOL!!!
My man Jimmy spu agin in indy st Petersburg. Tough track though. I do racing online and offline in several racing games, and although they don’t really compare 100% of course, they do come pretty close as attested to by the actual race car drivers who also play the games for practice. Anyways, St Pete’s is one of the tougher tracks, especially if it’s hot, and track is slippery. Unfortunately Johnson found that out exiting the pits, and gunning e throttle too soon after rounding first corner. Felt bad for him. Will be interesting to see how he fares out in Texas oval next week I Think it is?
I know there’s a chance that he likely will never be a top 5 indy driver overall, but would be super cool if he could be. Would round out a pretty stellar career nicely. He’s got a long way to go though. Will be interesting following his progression if he does progress.
Anyways, hope,f1 doesn’t keep pulling cr a p and ruining the sport even further. It’s one of the remaining few sports I even enjoy an y more
he’s still teething...
i know he’ll do better going from noosecar to indy than the Primadonna did going the otherwayround
she sucked on multiple levels
i assume you mean Danika? Never cared for her- Bear Grylis had her on his show the other night- a whole lot of blah blah blah- not much of a personality- imo
the little strumpet was sleeping her wayround europe while she was being groomed to the point she was told stop screwing and start racing or lose her ride
Yeah i never cared for her- even her commercials for the webhost were smarmy-ish-
Formula One Canadian Grand Prix replaced by Turkish GP because of pandemic restrictions
MONTREAL — Formula One’s Canadian Grand Prix has been canceled for the second year in a row amid coronavirus restrictions, and Turkey replaces the race on the 2021 calendar, organizers said Wednesday.
F1 said it is impossible to hold the June 13 race in Canada this year because of a mandatory 14-day quarantine, and a Turkish GP will be held on that date instead.
Fans will get refunds or can transfer their tickets to next year’s race in Montreal.
Turkey returned to F1’s reshaped calendar last year and hosted a race for the first time since 2011. Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton sealed his record-equaling seventh F1 title in Istanbul.
