Gag...It is nauseating.
Lovely!
Thank you, yorkie..All my bird pictures were taken on the coast of Texas.
Sure beats tailgating in a dusty parking lot!!
Thank you Meg!
You are welcome, CP
I imagine boating in there would be a wonderful time!
Aw thanks yorkie. I have battled insomnia too. Auntie has decided she is sick of talking about being sick. Last night she said she’s focusing on what else is going on. She’s at the end of her rope, but hanging on. She had quite a change in a few days. She used to want to discuss her problems, but now wants to not talk about it but focus on good stuff.
She has physical therapy, to work on the inflamed nerve, twice a week. As we are finding, this will be a long healing process. Worst thing now is the disruption of her old healthy sleeping pattern. She would sleep like a rock before. Now it’s a fitful hour or 2 a night, resulting in her feeling bad all day.
She has a strong resolve and is taking it one day at a time. She did talk of trying melatonin and other over the counter products. She’s accepted this is what she has to deal with, and will just continue to endure whatever happens.
She told her 2 sons she needs their help more to get through this. She is so independent, but had to ask them for more support. That was hard for her, but I am glad she told them. She is regarded as such a strong person, but we all need help sometimes.
She has 9 grandchildren, some of whom are of driving age and have helped drive her to doctor appts. I’ll be there for her in early October, and I’m taking her mother(91) and my mother(her sister) with me. We will wrap her in love the week we are there.
I saw a Robin getting a drink Friday...A Robin in August is something I have never seen here. I only see them when winter hits up north or more often in winter here when the berries are ripe on puracanthas, nandinas and youpons.
I have had frequent Mockingbird visits for water...There are many I see at the front..but rarely on my patio..
I put out an extra clay saucuer for the raccoons..They love to bathe in the birdbath..LOL They are now coming when I put the food out at about 9pm..No more having to stay up til the wee hours to watch the babies.
We had some thunder but no rain here this afternoon..the rain skipped my yard.
The forecast this week is for succesive 100 degree days.

I found something last night that I am going to send you in a minute when I find it. I know you’ll be signing off in a minute and I will too. It won’t take me long to find them because I do remember them. LOL...
Good to see you, Aqua..You are welcome! Sweet Dreams.
Thank you for your lovely pictures today and for nice hostessing!
I wish I was there at the ocean....I get so blue to see the ocean ‘cause I love it so much. I think its one of the most soothing things for me that I can think of....
Awww..Mine are big balls of fluff now..still babies but growing up fast...
Sweet Dreams, jaycee..Prayers the pain in your hip lessens.
You are welcome..I love the ocean, too..
My balls of fluff are all on the patio..eating or soaking in the birdbath saucers..
