Dave, I am sorry you are having problems with your back. I can sympathize 100 percent. I have been in the worst pain for a long time now. Had one hip hurting for a long time. It just became worse and worse. Told my doctor I was afraid it might break (I have heard of that) so he sent me to an Orthopedist about 7 weeks ago. That doctor does x-rays there at his clinic. His assistant took the x-rays and he put them on a screen and showed me that my hips looked fine but he showed me at the bottom of the spine, where the vertebrae (or whatever it was, was slanted down on that side and he said it was causing sciatica pain.
He sent me for physical therapy twice a week for 4 weeks and I truly think it made things worse (in my case). I was on my way back to the Orthopedist for my month visit. Was sitting at a traffic light with my foot on the break and a lady in a pick-up truck rear-ended me and totaled my car and almost totaled me. I would have went through the windshield had I not had my seatbelt on! But the seatbelt did hurt me in several places. The lady was charged of course and got a ticket and is responsible for my expenses.
Finally made it back to the Orthopedist this past Friday and will get an MRI this week. I don't know how bad you hurt but this is the worst thing I can remember! They tried several pain medications on me and nothing killed the pain. Finally last week, they gave me Lor-tab and we know they don't like to give that but I told them I couldn't take the pain any longer. Sorry this is long but its the only way I could explain it fully.
I have a tire story too, from driving the rental cars for several weeks. Will explain that later! Good Luck Dave!

It seems that we had to memorize that when I was in high school. I don’t remember all now, of course, but I love it and your graphic was so sweet, L.J.

Da End is Near
Reverend Boudreau was the part-time pastor of the local Cajun Baptist Church and Pastor Thibodeau was the minister of the Covenant Church across the road.
They were both standing by the road, pounding a sign into the ground, that read:
Da End is Near Turn Yo Sef 'Roun Now Afore It Be Too Late!
As a car sped past them, the driver leaned out his window and yelled, "You religious nuts!"
From the curve they heard screeching tires, and a big splash . . . .
Boudreaux turns to Thibodaux and asks, "Do ya tink maybe da sign should jus say . . . . 'Bridge Out?'"

Hey, Bro.
Yep ... Mom was right, you will always be there when I need you.
One of us must be the strong, take charge guy. LOL
It is so good to be home.
Vacations are great but also tiring.
Marissa was getting homesick for Millie and LouieMax.
And of course, Mr Mittens.
The pups greeted us wagging from the tips of their tails to the tips of their noses. :)
We really enjoyed Prescott and Sedona.
Flagstaff was nice but we would never move there.
The cold winters would never do.
Since it is still summer, let's have some summer fun.
Big Hugs for my (((((( Bro )))))).

I sometimes forget that everyone wasn’t here from the beginning. The very first Amy’s Place was posted on September 22, 2003.
Since our beginning, there had been many changes and revisions before the creation of our Heading Design by Wolfie. Then, last year, when we re-opened Amy’s Place, Lori and Billie created the new Welcome to Our Home Graphic.
I see no reason to change it .... I feel that the Monthly Opening is perfect as is. (Hope a few agree with me. ) LOL

Amy, did you know Wolfie came by to play with us Friday? We were happy he did and had a lot of fun....he's so funny!! I told him we wanted him to come back often and I said "I mean it." He came back with some funny stuff. If you get time sometimes, you should review it!!!
Isn't that right, Wolfie??

Luvie, I just today got to view that Military Tribute you posted the other day. It was wonderful and yes, a hanky or Kleenex would be handy! Thank you!

Posting that puts onto the latest posts page.
That way people who scan that page (as I do) would be more likely to see it.
I did it to encourage views of what you posted at #1112

I am going back to watch the other clips ..That first one brought tears..I knew it was coming but it got me anyway!
I had a marathon telephone visit with my daughter among my other things keeping me away from posting. She has had some good days between all the bad days lately which makes me feel better.
