Actually, Bush flew F-102s. Considerably more dangerous than F-100s. He volunteered for Vietnam, but wasn’t activated since the F-102 was an air defense interceptor and had no role in the conflict.

Anyway, the other day I saw this car plastered with liberal crybaby bumper stickers, but right there in the middle was one I absolutely LOVED. It was awesome. I'm sure I was supposed to read it and think, "He's right that insane people think that way, I must vote for liberals in order to counter that war mongering line of thinking." but I didn't think that at all, just to piss him off. I thought the sentiment was hysterical and even a little correct, in a historic context. The bumper sticker I loved read:

"How did our oil get under their sand?"
