I may not read anything ever again about any contagious illness, I've get chagrined at all the hours & hours & hours for weeks & weeks for months & months that I followed SARS and the Avian Flu, and now this H1N1 -- a better use of time & energy might be to await its discussion in history books, years from now.

The FBI has released info on them for the past year, it is not news.
I picked it up 2 years ago on the San Diego Police Scanner,
anytime one went missing, they had a full out alert to find them, I know I followed the search for one young man who went missing from the college in San Diego for a full weekend and the end result was that he was visiting an uncle in Los Angeles.
The related news on it has been released as it happened, there was a part of it recently, about a man who rented a car and drove a car load of them to San Diego, it just happened that a cop stopped them in Las Vegas and checked them out, it was in the news about a month ago.

Play with google for dead and missing scientists and you will stay busy for a few more years, there were a couple more in the last month, hundreds of them over the 10 years that I have watched them.
It is almost always the scientists who are after the cures.
It is alleged all over the place online, and I guess there's LOTS on UTube, that J.Moshe issued a warning about an outbreak of PLAGUE IN THE UKRAINE -- last August, months before the newspaper reports started appearing about people dying of apparent "pneumatic plague." Apparently part of his predictions included allegations that big pharma Baxter would be responsible, that plague would be spread via some vaccination program in Ukraine.
There is a mammoth amount of stuff about this online, way too much to follow, and most of it is on websites filled with Conspiracy Theorists so I've not read very much about it, but do recognize the name in a general sort of way.
Allegedly he is currently missing; but who knows?
It's probably all a big online hoax.

I followed the Kelly death in England, it was a suicide, that was impossible, and after several years, is now a murder under investigation.

The bacteria B. cepacia was found in a small amount of product made at its plant in Gross Gerau, Germany. There have been no reports of illness. However, the bacteria could cause serious infections for individuals with a compromised immune system, or those with chronic lung conditions, such as cystic fibrosis. One thing that jumped out at me, though, is that there is mention of MANY Americans repeatedly testing negative for H1N1 - via nasal swabs, they'd be tested again & again & again, and NO, nothing - but in the autopsies, the H1N1 was found in lung tissue.
I don't recall reading that elsewhere, but if this is old news to you all, sorry.

It is interesting how many scientists get killed, Art Bell started watching them back in the late 1990’s and that got me into keeping an open mind for their deaths....
He got hooked the week that about 3 died, they claimed one was hit by a falling tree branch and killed, but no one saw it happen, just found his torn up body.
And then there was the Freeper, Love? who was murdered on the east coast, they said it was the dopers nearby, but he had just announced a new investigation into?

Safety of pandemic vaccines
Pandemic (H1N1) 2009 briefing note 16
19 NOVEMBER 2009 | GENEVA — To date, WHO has received vaccination information from 16 of around 40 countries conducting national H1N1 pandemic vaccine campaigns. Based on information in these 16 countries, WHO estimates that around 80 million doses of pandemic vaccine have been distributed and around 65 million people have been vaccinated. National immunization campaigns began in Australia and the People’s Republic of China in late September.
Vaccination campaigns currently under way to protect populations from pandemic influenza are among the largest in the history of several countries, and numbers are growing daily. Given this scale of vaccine administration, at least some rare adverse reactions, not detectable during even large clinical trials, could occur, underscoring the need for rigorous monitoring of safety. Results to date are encouraging.
Common side effects
As anticipated, side effects commonly reported include swelling, redness, or pain at the injection site, which usually resolves spontaneously a short time after vaccination.
Fever, headache, fatigue, and muscle aches, occurring shortly after vaccine administration, have also been reported, though with less frequency. These symptoms also resolve spontaneously, usually within 48 hours. In addition, a variety of allergic reactions has been observed. The frequency of these reactions is well within the expected range.
Guillain-Barre syndrome
To date, fewer than ten suspected cases of Guillain-Barre syndrome have been reported in people who have received vaccine. These numbers are in line with normal background rates of this illness, as reported in a recent study. Nonetheless, all such cases are being investigated to determine whether these are randomly occurring events or if they might be associated with vaccination.
WHO has received no reports of fatal outcomes among suspected or confirmed cases of Guillain-Barre syndrome detected since vaccination campaigns began. All cases have recovered. WHO recommends continued active monitoring for Guillain-Barre syndrome.
Investigations of deaths
A small number of deaths have occurred in people who have been vaccinated. All such deaths, reported to WHO, have been promptly investigated. Although some investigations are ongoing, results of completed investigations reported to WHO have ruled out a direct link to pandemic vaccine as the cause of death.
In China, for example, where more than 11 million doses of pandemic vaccine have been administered, health authorities have informed WHO of 15 cases of severe side effects and two deaths that occurred following vaccination. Thorough investigation of these deaths, including a review of autopsy results, determined that underlying medical conditions were the cause of death, and not the vaccine.
Safety profile of different vaccines
Campaigns are using nonadjuvanted inactivated vaccines, adjuvanted inactivated vaccines, and live attenuated vaccines. No differences in the safety profile of severe adverse events among different vaccines have been detected to date.
Although intense monitoring of vaccine safety continues, all data compiled to date indicate that pandemic vaccines match the excellent safety profile of seasonal influenza vaccines, which have been used for more than 60 years.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE — November 19, 2009 - Service Smoked Fish Corp. of Brooklyn, NY, is recalling specific “Use-By” dates and lot codes of Brooklyn’s BEST brand SMOKED NOVA SALMON because they have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Although healthy individuals may possibly suffer only short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea, Listeria infection can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.
Smoked Nova Salmon was distributed in the greater New York area, New Jersey, Connecticut, and the areas of Baltimore, MD, Los Angeles, CA, and Portland, Oregon. Consumers may have purchased the product from retail food stores.
The Smoked Nova Salmon was vacuum-packed in clear, plastic bags of various size packages including 3 oz., 4 oz., 8 oz., 12 oz., 16 oz. and random weight sides with the brand name “Brooklyn’s BEST” appearing on a circular label inside the vacuum bag. A “Use-By” date appears on the bottom of the gold board. Units with “Use-By” dates of 12/03/09 through 12/19/09 are being recalled. The product was also air-packed in bulk boxes. Air-packed units with lot numbers 060 through 043 are being recalled. No other use-by dates or lots numbers are involved in this recall.
No illnesses have been reported to date.
The recall is the result of samplings by the Food and Drug Administration which revealed that the finished products contained the bacteria. The company has ceased the production and distribution of the product. The FDA and the company continue their investigation as to what caused the problem.
Consumers who have purchased the above “Use-By” dates or lot codes of “Brooklyn’s BEST” brand SMOKED NOVA SALMON are urged to return it to the place of purchase for a full refund. Consumers with questions may contact the company at 718-388-4067, Monday - Friday, 7 am - 3 pm.

Climategate: the final nail in the coffin of ‘Anthropogenic Global Warming’?

If you own any shares in alternative energy companies I should start
dumping them NOW. The conspiracy behind the Anthropogenic Global
Warming myth (aka AGW; aka ManBearPig) has been suddenly, brutally and
quite deliciously exposed after a hacker broke into the computers at
the University of East Anglia’s Climate Research Unit (aka Hadley CRU)
and released 61 megabites of confidential files onto the internet.

When you read some of those files - including 1079 emails and 72
documents - you realise just why the boffins at Hadley CRU might have
preferred to keep them confidential. As Andrew Bolt puts it, this
scandal could well be “the greatest in modern science”. These alleged
emails - supposedly exchanged by some of the most prominent scientists
pushing AGW theory - suggest:
Conspiracy, collusion in exaggerating warming data, possibly
illegal destruction of embarrassing information, organised resistance
to disclosure, manipulation of data, private admissions of flaws in
their public claims and much more.
One of the alleged emails has a gentle gloat over the death in 2004 of
John L Daly (one of the first climate change sceptics, founder of the
Still Waiting For Greenhouse site), commenting:
“In an odd way this is cheering news.”
But perhaps the most damaging revelations - the scientific equivalent
of the Telegraph’s MPs’ expenses scandal - are those concerning the
way Warmist scientists may variously have manipulated or suppressed
evidence in order to support their cause.

Breaking News Story: CRU has apparently been hacked – hundreds of files released

UPDATE: Response from CRU in interview with another website, see end of this post.
The details on this are still sketchy, we’ll probably never know what went on. But it appears that University of East Anglia Climate Research Unit has been hacked and many many files have been released by the hacker or person unknown.

I’m currently traveling and writing this from an airport, but here is what I know so far:
An unknown person put postings on some climate skeptic websites that advertised an FTP file on a Russian FTP server, here is the message that was placed on the Air Vent today:
We feel that climate science is, in the current situation, too important to
be kept under wraps.
We hereby release a random selection of correspondence, code, and documents
The file was large, about 61 megabytes, containing hundreds of files.
It contained data, code, and emails from Phil Jones at CRU to and from many people.
I’ve seen the file, it appears to be genuine and from CRU. Others who have seen it concur- it appears genuine. There are so many files it appears unlikely that it is a hoax. The effort would be too great.
