Very funny! I took a nap with Frank, then we had supper, I put in some time on the treadmill, and now we’re going to have a setaround with an episode of “Foyle’s War.” I picked up two when I was at the library earlier.

I checked out “O Pioneers!” and finished it already. Good story. It’s like what Louis L’Amour would have written if he were a “serious novelist.”

Lucky you! I launched into a project today that I thought would take a few days, but by late afternoon thought I could finish today.

No such luck; it's not finished and the most difficult element is still in front of me, but I might finish tomorrow.

I’ve been up since 5:30, and though I had a hard time getting started, I washed two loads of clothes and then ran some errands.
I just finished hanging the clothes to dry, and I’m done for the day!
Of course, they’ll be dry, even inside, in a couple of hours.

Much better than I thought I would!
I still have an occasional cough, but now the sinuses are working overtime, and that’s a little uncomfortable. Still, the worst of it is over, now that the winds have died down.

I think I'm seeing what a Twitter account might be like.

I learned what's fer supper in North Carolina, that what's happening in Vegas (not much), still won't stay in Vegas, and that it was a good morning to stay in bed in Seattle, (like that's something new).

Hot here, too - 98 for the high at our house. Now it’s 85. A big storm system has just passed to our north and west. We just got some gusty wind and dark clouds for a little while.

I joined Twitter to help the Iranians, and I’ve managed to get 11 followers.

At least two of them are trying to sell me something.

We plan to breed one of our dragons next year, so I was just fishing for prospects.
