The problem with Torchwood, and yes I am a regular watcher of the program, is that its a homosexual propagandist piece. Nearly every character is sexually confused or flat out homosexual, even bit players that appear one time for no more than 5 seconds on screen in one episode get portrayed as homosexual or lesbian as often as not.

Short of that, its an OK show I'd say its typically slightly above average, and every so often one of its episodes shows what it could be. I has the potential to be great, but far more often it falls just shy of that.

It is part of the Doctor Who universe, but really only as a tertiary player. The main character in Torchwood was introduced through Doctor Who, and the characters criss cross occasionally, but don't confuse Torchwood with Dr. Who. Dr. Who is a spectacular series (Though it often sneaks in pro homosexual propaganda as well, though definitely not as in your face as Torchwood).. Torchwood is a decent series, with occasional glimpses of how could it could be.

Great episodes!!! I have a crush on Carey Mulligan after seeing her in Bleak House. Sort of funny to see these character actors/actresses from the period pieces make appearances in Dr. Who or the spin-offs like Guppy in Torchwood. ;)

That’s Torchwoods biggest problem, everyone in the damned show just about, even one time bit players, are as often as not homosexual or bisexual. Too much propoganda and it harms the show.

The potential for greatness is in the show, sadly it rarely executes at that level. Every once in a while it does, but most of the time it falls short.

The propoganda for homosexuals and bisexuals in Torchwood is its single problem. The first season the topic was broached occassionaly, but in season 2 it was full on in your face nonsense in nearly every episode.

I agree that “cyberwoman” was one of the worst episodes, but the pro gay PR is sadly forced into the show so much and so often that it really does detract from the show.. they need to back burner that crap.

If you like gay sex TV shows then Torchwood is your show. Like many Brit shows they are fixated on homosexuality.

The latest series of Doctor Who is incredible TV.. every so often there is a stinker, but its a far better show overall than Torchwood.

Torchwood is an average to slightly above average show, with occassional glipses of how good it could be. Doctor Who is a great to spectacular show that occassionally falls short.

Torchwood really needs to back off the homosexual in your face propoganda, and focus more on the stories its trying to tell... there are some really bad stinkers in there.

Warehouse 13 seems to be a cross between Torchwood and The X Files.

Blink was one of the very best episodes, it really made you think about the nature of time.

Did you like the openly and blatant pro-homosexual scenes? Pretty sick in my book.

Definitely could have done without them, I did like the scenes where they showed the politicians covering their own butts and what happens in Britain when people don’t have gun rights how the government can run all rough shod over the populace. It is sorta a cautionary tale.
