I haven't been to Cinncinati for several years, but when I've been there in the past I always enjoyed dining at the Montgomery Inn — home of the finest pork ribs I've ever tasted.

I don’t see how he could put Kentucky down in a way that hasn’t been heard before. I’m sure he’ll say how we’re all racist, sexist, toothless, backwards hillbillies without a clue but I’m glad I’m not him. That sort of hateful cynicism is bad on the soul and the body.

OK, while everybody is freaking about the difference between inter and intra, I noticed the Cincy city council was "expecting" the train project to be finished in 2004.

So, I checked the date on the original article.

This article was written (posted) November 23, 2000.

A bit outdated at the least, although Cincinnati probably still sucks. ( or not, never been there, don't know. )
Thing is, it's been about 8 and a half years since the piece was written.
Hardly relevant, is it?

Eh, Cincinnati doesn’t need Chris Parry. I grew up there, and I’d like to say this: I like the nasti nati better than almost all of the ‘good’ cities (at least according to people like this guy) I’ve been to. I hate NYC, I hate Chicago, I hate San Fran and L.A. and pretty much everywhere else I’ve ever been to. Except for Indianapolis and Louisville. They were okay.

And Chris, we *know* the Bengals and the Reds suck. It’s part of their charm. I’m just insulted that he didn’t even try and find the good restaurants. Geeze.

"move back to Cincy"

Did you listen to Mike McConnell or Bill Cunningham on 700WLW?

"Dublin"

Visited Dublin in April-May. Great city, great fun.

It's pretty sad when you have an engineer correcting a writer and editor on something like this.

I'm still trying to figure out how skyscrapers eminate a skyline.

:Yes!"

I have become addicted to McConnell after hearing him by chance on my car radio driving to work several years ago. And it was a replay of The Weekend with Mike McConnell on an Iowa radio station. I live in Wisconsin. McConnell is a host who should be much better known. I haven't heard a conservative talk show host yet with his command of the facts.

Chris, you're clearly talking about intra-city trains, not inter-city trains. An inter-city train from Cincy would go to somewhere like Chicago or Detroit or Atlanta.

Right. The Cardinal serves Cincinnati as part of the NYC to Chicago route.

This dude just seems to radiate negativity.

He may have self image problems or erectile disfunction.
