This would be a good time to revalue’’ the dollar 1 for 10, 1 new’’ dollar would buy what 10 old dollars would, gold and silver could again be used in coinage, and the new dollar would have a 50% gold backing. An old debt of 1 million bucks would be paid with 100 thousand new dollars’’ which would buy what the old dollar would.
