this is an internet forum....grow a thicker skin instead of threatening to run to an admin and report ‘abuse’.
So the Lord Jesus would be pleased to see men browbeating women on an internet forum just because they mention they don’t drink alcohol?

Why don’t you become a gentleman conservative instead of me ‘growing a thicker skin’ as a Christian lady. I like my skin the way it is, thank you. :)
There is no excuse for rudeness. It shows bad character. The “report abuse” function is there to let the administrator know when someone becomes insulting toward another freeper. It serves its purpose and I will use it against anyone who is a creep or a heel toward fellow freepers.

That’s my point. I think it’s perfectly fine for you to snap back at people who annoy you, because I find it amusing. Your wanting to sic an admin on them because your sense of propriety is offended is something else entirely...it’s kind of ridiculous, in fact.

He was always kind and gentle to women. Always. He should be your example too, unless you are a Christian hypocrite.
I made a simple comment that I don’t drink alcohol and some turned against me in a nasty way. Sorry, in my book that means that people who would object to a sober woman instead of a drunk woman have character flaws beyond my power to fix. Only the Lord Jesus can do that.

I am neither a Christian nor a hypocrite...and jesus was VERY kind to the Syrio-Phoenician woman, right? I think he referred to her, as a non-jew, as a ‘dog’. Perhaps she was drunk, but we’ll never know for sure.
