Name the actual variety of motorcycle used in the jump...

It was a post-war Triumph model, but I can't remember the model name.

Here we go again.
It was a Triumph T120 (I think but possibly a T110) disguised as a post war BMW disguised as a prewar BMW.
Please note, when McQueen stops at the checkpoint, the BMW has an overhead valve engine not the prewar side valve engine.
