Estimate????
Uncle Ted is great!!
Is he gonna play a song or two??
I dunno - hope so.
Lots. I haven’t heard an official estimate, but the plaza they are in is PACKED!
Sounds like they are playing over at the Live Alamo thread...linked above.
Should lock down this thread and head over to that one...looks like it’s getting “lively”!
I been over there for a week
Gotta run folks...have a good one, sounds like it’s been a GREAT Day!!!
LOL! I am sending that to my email list!
Glad you liked it.
Hey ravingnutter,
I stayed till my back went out(again) but it was wonderful beyond imagination. I was to the right of the stage and thought I got some great shots with my cam, but I shake a lot and lost Ted and most of Glen.I loved it when Glen first put on the white Stetson(give em time). What a group of beautiful people I was surrounded by. Really good people. Hope you enjoyed yourself.
And exactly what mission was Ms.Rockabyebaby off to, hopefully 'she' wore something a little more conservative than 'her' customary attire on previous missions.
Thanks for the links D.C., hopefully when Miss Rockabye gets back ‘she’ will surely check them out, she’s been a definitely iron lady working the Beck threads of late.
Maybe “she” was on stage with Glenn Beck!
Hmmm, I don’t know, was the Beck rally near the Holland Tunnel?
After my first post regarding our Tyler Tea Party being 1000, the local TV news says their number was 1400+.
Does anyone know a link to After Action Reports?
I probably walked right by you at one point, I was on that side when I first got there at 2:00, but then went to the other side right before Glenn started his show as the police were making everyone move off to the right away from the stage. I ended up right in front of the stage they used when the actual tea party agenda began at 6:00. Like you, I have a bad back...plus an arthritic hip...so I only stayed until 7:15, after Ted was done with his speech. Luckily there were some huge black cases that they use to transport their cables that I was able to lean on. I am a little sunburned and sore this morning. But all in all, it was a worthwhile adventure.
Watched the show last night....it was fantastic!!!!!!!
Dam* I wish we lived in Tx!!!!
