I saw promos for it while watching Jeopardy, which is the only thing on ABC that I watch. I figured it would be the standard anti-gun crap and didn’t plan on watching.
Now I find out that I was wrong. From the comments, it doesn’t seem to be the standard anti-gun crap, it’s worse. They’re not even trying to show the other side.
I’d love to ask a liberal, “If guns are so evil, why do your bodyguards have them?” If they can answer at all, they’ll probably mutter something about training and how their bodyguards are special. As if ordinary citizens just picked up guns without learning anything about them. Sheesh. I’d be willing to bet that I have more skill and experience with guns than a typical rent-a-cop.
Your prescription will work, and should be followed.
I watch almost NO TV. Have not subscribed to a newspaper in over 10 years, and I think I am better informed than I have ever been in my life.
AP is the death knell for the Newspapers. (AP = Always Propaganda)
The 3 blind mice (ABC, CBS, NBC,); MSNBC; CNN (Commie News Network) are 24/7 distortion and lies.
Fox gets it part of the time, and you can tell it in their audiences and ratings.
It is not a question of medium (web or print), but a question of content. They simply do not get it, we buy newspapers and magazines to be informed, not lied to.
The Wall Street Journal, IBD, and other print publications get it and have a loyal following.
That whole morning show of hers is disgusting. An open homosexual, a semi-closeted homosexual and the son of a liberal icon is just too much for me too bear in the morning.
I watched the whole thing and the crazed gunman school shooting reenactment was setup in such a way that the people with guns pretty much had no chance. The seats were in a weird configuration. I’ve never been in a class like that. The “crazed gunman” comes in and is in very close proximity to the people with guns. They were all in the first row! They should of tried many different scenarios, like a much bigger lecture hall. What about a crazed gunman going through a floor of a school and having several different classrooms with students or teachers who are armed? See if they could take down the shooter because they know he’s coming. What about attempted abduction/rape scenarios or holdup situation like Lane Bryant massacre? The “crazed gunman” in the reenactment went right for the people in the first row and he knew ahead of time who was armed. The student with the gun had virtually no time to react. The classroom was also very small and cramped.
I have to agree they proved the point that there are many stupid people with guns who think they’re rambo! That clerk behind the desk that could’ve hit the little baby. OMG! and the people who shoot family members but don’t stop to think if the “intuder” is actually one of their family members getting a late night snack. I also thought the segment of about kids and young stupid males and their reaction to finding and then handling of guns was pretty eye opening.
I normally don't, in fact I haven't watched it in years. However this anti-gun / anti-America / anti-constitution program caught my eye.
These anti-gun A'holes either don't understand or do not want to understand is if everyone was armed there would be less violence not more.
Every time I get into a conversation with these idiots I always pose these questions;
Since criminals don't follow any of the other laws (hence the word criminal), what makes anti-gunners think they'll follow gun laws?
Another question I enjoy asking these imbeciles. What would you (meaning them)rather have in your possession if someone was attempting to rape you, a gun or a cell phone?
I also believe all anti-gunners should post a sign in their yards stating to the world that they are unarmed and they don't allow guns in their homes. Why are they enjoying the protection of a criminals not knowing who's armed and who's not.
I remember years ago when that dude who shot those people on the LIRR was interviewed on TV and one of the questions the reporter posed to him was why (since he was from LA) didn't he do the deed in LA and his response was something to the effect that had he done it there he'd may have gotten one maybe two shots off before someone blew him away. He stated everyone out there is armed to the teeth and he'd be dead. Well dah.
Not only is owning a weapon a constitutionally protect right, it's also a YaHWeH given right. Yahoshua states in the scriptures Luke 22:36 "And let him who has no sword sell his garment and buy one."
Fearing antigunners are the biggest and most dangerous illegal “gun clingers” out there.
The show is wrong. It should point at the liberal terrorist camp which bradybill the gun instead of the terrorists which held them illegaly.
Yes I watched that CRAP most attentively because it tells me what’s coming down the road. I already went over to youtube to rant but it’s a little early.
I looked over at my wife five minutes into the show and said, get ready, they are going to do it.
It was the most nauseating and transparent display of propaganda masquerading as “news” I’ve ever seen. We need the fairness doctrine for what?
At least two people having lost someone close to them were trotted out and offered a chance to speak to the president, a split screen, Obama’s picture on the right, the person’s picture on the left, and the statement, Mr. President when are you going to help us...close gunshow loophole, make people lock up their guns, etc. etc.
Well of course, the Great One will hear the calls for help and come to the rescue with oppressive federal laws regarding privately owned firearms by those living in the states. Good bye America. Hello Australia.
There was a time when the elders of the community were considered the wise ones but I notice under the liberal plutracracy small children are asked by adults to advise on how laws should be written. And they are serious!?!?
Shown on the program was a ghetto in Florida, don’t remember the name of the place, filled with the most immature childlike undisciplined people who just happen to have more in common with the President’s racial heritage than mine (anglo) if you know what I mean. These people shoot guns in the air for fun one minute, have deadly gunfights the next, it looks like the middle east when the Arabs get themselves whipped up into a frenzy. This is presented to us as why I should not have a gun? You liberals deliberately raise the n’th generation of welfare dependents with no family, no culture, no religion, no idea of what work is, no morals, no discipline, no brains, no education, they get hold of guns and go wild with them, and a little boy asking Obama to please help is supposed to solve their problem by imposing firearms restrictions on all of us. It’s coming, get ready.
I’m still mad about that scene. Those on welfare aren’t really free because of the welfare mentality. But they are free because they aren’t chattel slaves any more. And this is what they do with their freedom. Act like a bunch of animals. And then their disgrace is presented as evidence as why responsible gun owners cannot have guns. The back middle class uses guns responsibly, why not show that? Because it doesn’t move the agenda along.
There was video footage of young kids getting their hands on guns and doing stuff that makes you cringe. The examples were all contrived. Yet this example will be used to excuse passage of more senseless gun laws.
Nothing was mentioned about Australia. How after their gun confsication crime of all sorts went up.
No mention was made about how we will get our criminals to obey supposedly the same laws that the law abiding will be expected to obey when ordered to either lock the guns away so they cannot be accessed in an emergency, or to turn them in at the confiscation depot.
But that doesn’t matter. Because it’s not about making sense. All it is about is political power. And the way to enhance the power of government relative to the people is to cripple the people’s ability to defend themselves. This must be done whether it makes sense or not.
Of course don’t forget that if you cite the Constitution, and I hope you don’t forget to cite your own State’s statues and bills of right to keep and bear arms, and cite the common and natural laws that entitle an individual to the means of self defense, you will probably be classified as a milita member, therefore a home grown terrorist like McVeigh. You’ll be seen as one of them strange fellas that carry around a copy of the Constitushun (sic) and Declaration of Indepencence. Police are already receiving training how to deal with you all.
So there you go. That was 20/20.
Going to turn in. Good night.
well I did see it advertised on Discovery Channel today so I did tune in, as I have just bought my first gun.
I did want to see the issues, and expected it to be slanted as it was.
If people respected guns and were taught to handle them as kids (I was not and am a bit apprehensive) we would not have these problems.
when I was buying my gun, a home school mother who I know from a Republican Women’s group was at the gun store and helped me pick out the gun and offered to take me out with her 13 year old daughter who she was teaching to shoot.
I asked her how she got comfortable with guns and she said she was raised with them around.
The world would be a better place if there were more people like her around...
But I’ve printed out the online instructions as well as about 20 other pages on how to clean, etc - and signed up and started posting on a site for the type of gun I bought and I’m getting good advice.
The Sheriff’s office is holding a gun safety class each month all year so far and have people signed up through July. About 60 attend each class. They usually only have 1,2 a year.
Yeah I see that gun control is working out real well in Mexico...for the bad guys that is.
That’s why I didn’t watch it. I knew where it was going.
I listen to Fox, and subscribe to the WSJ...and of course, Freep!
The MSM is soooo out of it as to actual reporting...not only do they not get it..but they dont’ have even the basic information.
