Wow, I can see the plan by WMAL now. Balance their line up before the feds make them.
Chris Plante is excellent and I am sure as hell not going to listen to Joe and Mika. Isn’t Laura Ingraham on at the same time?
Joe & Mika: Absolutely the WORST talk show hosts I ever heard.
I’d rather listen to glass breaking.
Wow! Oh no......!
Joe Scarborough
Don’t forget Michael Graham. I’m guessing I will be employing my other options. Hoping Plante ends up elsewhere soon. Also, Glenn Beck is available locally now at AM 1580.
Great graphic!
yep, sorry about forgetting Michael Graham ... which I unfortunately hold a terrible view on — I liked that he was fired - but ONLY because it brought Chris Plante to WMAL. In paradise, both Graham and Plante would still be on WMAL :)
I really hope he gets a new gig like this too and with the similar format. But it’s highly unlikely. Michael Graham has a talk show but I think he was already a somewhat national figure. Chris Core and Austin Hill do not. And I don’t think Chris Plante is really a national figure.
Is it worse than Bill O'Reilly's show was?
Do you really think that the whole flippin world knows that WMAL is in D.C.? Perhaps in the future you could add something somewhere along the line to let us know where it is that you are worried about your local radio show.
WABC-AM has had Scarborough’s show for several months now. There’s not enough money in the universe to make me listen to it.
HEY what about John Batchelor!?
This stinks on ice!!!!!
I wish Batchelor’s show could be back on weeknights.
Dumping Chris Plante so we can hear the squawking of the #$&%@ Mika?
Nope, not going to be listing from 10-12 anymore.
Time to send negative feedback to the advertisers.
Yes
I went to Citadel Media/Broadcasting web site, top left (of course) corner “Air America Media”
Watch out, that’s how it’s going to happen, buy the network, cancel the local conservative talk hosts/hostesses and then go for the kill of the “big guys”
No reason for Congress to write laws, the market place will take care of it.
First, Michael Graham in August of 2005.
Then, Chris Core in February 2008.
Now in just over a year later, Chris Plant???
You guys fired Austin Hill not too long ago this year too?
Just what gives WMAL? I like Fred, Andy and Brian fine, but 5 hours????
What is it that everyone at the station is not talking about?
I love Rush, but I really loved Chris Plants insight on whats going on locally, Regionally and within that tiny speck of land mass, in halls of Congress.
Unreal! Chris Plante is a gem. One of the most talented and insightful conservative voices on the radio. How disappointing!
I will miss Chris, I don’t like Grandy and Andy and will not listen to that Scarborough guy, so I will be turning the dial hoping to find something worth listening to.
