Puppies are so lovable, Kitty! And these also look like your Doggie! And the ‘thank you’ one does, too! Also glad you liked the big orange cat. I love orange cats!

The Honor Of Your Friendship
I have called you friends. —John 15:15

During the marriage ceremony of a British couple, the best man remained motionless. Even after vows were exchanged, he didn’t move.

The still figure was a racecar driver who was trying to be in two places at one time. Because of contractual commitments, Andy Priaulx, three-time world touring-car champion, had to break his promise to participate in his friend’s wedding. So he sent a life-size cardboard cutout of himself, as well as a prerecorded speech. The bride said she was moved by his effort to honor their marriage.

Priaulx’s gesture was certainly creative, and we shouldn’t second-guess his actions. But Jesus gave us another standard by which to gauge friendship.

Jesus asked His disciples to show their friendship to Him by loving one another as He had loved them. Then, He raised the bar. In anticipation of His death on the cross, He said, “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends” (John 15:13).

This depth of friendship isn’t merely about doing the right thing. It’s about sacrifice, and it springs out of a relationship with the One who truly did lay down His life for us.

Are we showing others that we have been loved by Jesus as He is loved by His Father?

For Further Study
The Bible describes what real love looks like (1 Cor. 13).
Check online for What Is Real Love? at http://www.discoveryseries.org/q0714 to study this passage.

Love is more than a sentiment, it’s putting another’s needs ahead of your own.

Such Young, Innocent Love

As young as we are
We never knew
That we will feel
This unexplainable emotion

It is so amazing
What we are experiencing
For the very first time
A young love
Growing beautifully
Like flowers

Never felt something like it
Like we have reached the stars at night
Or climbed the tallest mountain..
Such wonderful thing
Just happened to us

We both feel the same
We are so innocent
We don’t even know what to do

We can see
How nervous we are
How shy we are to say our feelings
How our knees shake when we are about to talk
Such young love we have...

We can hear our heart
Beating at the same time
Slowly giving in to our emotions
And just letting everything out

Feeling your touch
Feeling my touch
Feeling all my passion and love
Such wonderful feeling
Such a wonderful emotion we have

Such Young
Innocent
Love we have

I've missed you guys!!

I'm back online. Yeaa!!

I'm not sure that the problem is resolved.
I was getting a "No DSL Connection" message.
The modem DSL and Internet lights were flashing red.
I spent lots of time with AT & T Tech Support.
They could not resolve the problem so set an appt for Monday;
(can you believe it? Monday?)

Last night, out of the blue, all of the modem lights switched to green.
Then I spent more time with Tech Support configuring the modem.

I have not cancelled the Monday appointment.
I'm afraid to give up my scheduled time until I know all is well.
I don't want to go to the end of the line again.
I will cancel it tomorrow if all is still a go.

Thank each of you for stepping up to the plate.
I appreciate you.

Mine said I had 32 threats and I made the same mistake and clicked on remove threats thinking it was our virus protection doing it's job.

Did you get the thing removed?

Have I missed anything?

Well, you might have missed this: on Chris Daniel's show yesterday it was announced that the word is out that the Central Valley Tea Party could be the BIGGEST in the entire country. Now they are projecting 18,000! How about that?

Hope you had a lovely weekend on the coast. Sorry I was not able to be here on Monday to "hostess", and I almost forgot to open the doors at all. Still having problems with my neck and the Valium is just keeping me dragged out. I don't want to take it anymore. :-(
