Black Seersucker Shower Curtain Skirt
a make at home project
Yes - it’s great! Gotta makes sure I’m not wearing it when I wear pajamas to go through pharmacy drive-through window - you never know (LOL).
Here is thread 2
i agree with you and that’s why i can’t really hate on her. She doesn’t ACT like she thinks she is all that and a bag of chips, at all. in fact, just the opposite. and for that reason, i also feel badly for her.
the cut of the skirt makes her look like the side of a barn, but i have to say, the boots are lightyears better on her than the ones i saw Sarah wearing.
Put your ankles together lady
Same gown here.
And here.
Cast was off Fri
still pain & lack of flexibility but sooooo sweet to soak in tub & type w/two hands!
did you find your pix?
they were a nice looking couple.
now I only see bitterness in them
opps I ;must have missed something
I have a deputy badge?
(or is this another dolly?)
am I allowed to “carry”?
thanks for the composite of all the first ladies.
My goodness Hillary looks like something from My old fairy tale books.
Now that they are together wondering if Michelle was trying to copy Nancy R?
Barbara Bush was a bit large but looked gorgeous & elegant in her gown & well, Laura was always right on cue!
Another thanks for the great composite of the first ladies’ gowns, potlatch.
I agree with Dolly that Laura Bush was always on cue with total class and grace.
Yes, I went to WA and looked all through the pictures and did see them. Thanks for telling me. I'm finding them on a number of blogs now.
Thank you Dolly. I spent a lot of time finding and cutting them all out, etc. I'll admit to a purpose. I imagine many were a bit surprised as they looked through them and compared.
I heard much criticism of a ‘white’ gown. Well, Nancy and Jackie wore white also. White has been acceptable in the winter more so in recent years. They just call it ‘winter white’, lol.
Michelle's gown does give a chenille look and I have not found a full description of what those things WERE on her gown, lol. But it is silk organza.
I have a well known Texas designer's gown in ice blue silk organza and it has tiny embroider-edged scalloped silk organza flowers sprinkled on the skirt with crystal beads in the center of each. In a picture you would see ‘little things sticking out’. It is just gorgeous.
No doubt, Laura has always looked lovely but she mostly wears solid color matching tops and bottoms so that leaves little to criticize. I love Laura but I go for a bit more pizazz. Her ball gowns were just perfect.
Remember the picture I complimented you on, where you were wearing a highly decorated Christmas sweater? I told you that I loved it and had similar ones?
Why be a sparrow when you can be a peacock?
You are quite welcome. I thought it would be nice to show an overview of many of them.
We all love Laura Bush, don't think there was ever anything to criticize her about. I love the picture of the look on her face when she and W were sitting behind Carter while he was giving a speech being critical of President Bush.
Lol, her expression said it all - with out a word.
I am very lucky as I get many designer type things for next to nothing at a second hand store where I do all my shopping. I have a Christian Dior winter wool coat that I paid 9 dollars for a few years ago. Saks suits for $5.00 & my new years eve dress (designer) was only 4 dollars & retailed for many hundred
yes doing a lot of various things - with accompanying pain - to increase flexibility & use of arm again.
Love how you decorated that arm!!
I buy what I like, where ever I find it. Some expensive and some -’gasp’ even at Walmart!! Lol.
I have a good sense of style and my friends look to see what I'm wearing. Not a brag, just a fact.
Your hand and arm will be back to normal before too long.
