There were a couple of black dudes, one had held the door for me, and each had bought just one of those big cans of beer, then one headed for the car and the other didn't have enough to pay. So I fished the change out of my pocket and said to take what he needed. He took a lot of quarters lol, didn't quite expect that, but whatever. I just felt in a generous mood, don't always do that.
The cashiers know me, and I said gee my ex had a drinking problem, hate to think I'd enabled anything like that (true). Then he left. First clerk, "Did he ask you for money?" No. Is he a regular, I don't know him, but he did hold the door for me? He should. Sometimes they do, and I smile and thank them. She and the nice younger guy cashier were looking at me really funny, I don't make a habit of that sort of thing, every so often feel a burst of generosity for no particular reason, actually put myself and inconvenience in their place, but I ended up feeling like I did something wrong lol. I did say I get hit up sometimes, and I am able to say no. Which is true. So I was distracted by that.
Change you can believe in lol. I have a terrible habit that way, either refrain to comment altogether or write too much about nothing when I do.
