CHAMA, NM - Several meandering V-shaped UFOs near a mountain slope here turned up on a woman's digital photos. Three photos shot with a 21 megapixel camera caught multiple crafts approaching in the first frame, one craft in frame two moving close to the ground while the others take positions in the sky, and then frame three shows all of the crafts moving out of the area.

Thanks for your kind words.
I WISH I had the luxury to believe as you do.
That’s no longer an option. Sadly.
Ahhhhhhhhh . . .
But the hoaxers are a very definite minority.
Sadly, or thankfully, depending on the perspective taken! LOL.
Even the hoaxers PLUS the disinformation shills are still a very definite minority.
And that still doesn’t really explain the “anger!”
I can imagine incredulity or a list of other things . . . but WHY ANGER???
Hmmmm.
I could understand that.
Is that really it, mysterio?
Anger at being/feeling duped by cynical joksters/tricksters?
By silly immature jokers having fun . . . admittedly at others’ expense.
GOODNESS!
I don’t know of a single ‘believer’ on the UFO PING LIST
who has a hard time seeing through the hoaxsters.
They are mostly pretty transparent and easy to see through.
Their psychology and methodology etc. are fairly well known and sooner or later someone in the field will out them or their video or whatever.
It just doesn’t matter. The hoaxes are DEFINITELY too small a minority of the phenomena to bother much about.
Certainly when the hoaxers seduce bright people into the kinds of naysaying stances you represent—it can get very annoying and frustrating. But not terminally so by any means.
I guess those of us who’ve studied the field for several decades (47 years, in my case) have developed such an automatic screening function in our brains that the hoaxers don’t even slow us down.
Shoot, even if I pick up a new W Strieber book or a new Timothy good or Budd Hopkins book—folks who have earned a lot of respect due to their diligent research and candor . . . I still don’t need to read every page. So much is repeat. Now, I try and save time and just look for what’s new and unfolding and convincing.
Those are not near as automatically mutually exclusive as you cast them.
I could with some tediousness outline why.
However, I believe Cameron mostly was trying to take an easy out by saying he had “no idea” if there is intelligent life in space. I think he was lying to use that phrasing . . . or at least exaggerating. He may not be certain but I suspect he has a pretty good idea else he’d not have made such a bold statement for a politician.
Uhhhhhh, hello?
I see you joined in 2008.
I’ve been around these parts since virtually the first year. I think the latter part of the first year of FR, in my first incarnation.
Perhaps you haven’t read many of my threads or comments on a diversity of topics.
Clearly you are not a very good psychologist else you’d have more respect for more UFO experiencers.
In any case, I’ll spell it out . . .
I’m a character . . . a bird of rare plumage as one Navy boss described me and himself and the rest of our CREDO staff.
My umpteen page course guide for the INTRO TO PSYCH class is full of colorful diverse fonts and colorful pictures.
I write in diverse and colorful fonts about most of the things I write about—sooner or later.
In short, your point is moot in terms of me and the UFO topic. I am no more emotional about it than I am a lot of other topics. Actually, I probably have more laid back fun with it than I do a lot of other topics—in spite of how spiritually and politically and family-wise VERY IMPORTANT I think the topic is.
Nothing but huge type and high pitched emotional response to criticism of the true believers
BTW,
What generalized exaggerated hypocrisy to the max.
You’d shred an abductee up one side and down the other who said
“Nothing but . . . “
When it wasn’t fact!
I very occasionally use anything close to NOTHING BUT LARGE FONTS AND COLORS. Actually, I don’t think I’ve EVER used NOTHING BUT LARGE FONTS AND COLORS on a UFO thread.
You are WRONG, INACCURATE, making false assertions yet again.
Sheesh.
INDEED.
The mystery is fascinating for a list of reasons.
I’m convinced that the “ET’s” ARE
in cahoots with satan toward setting up and maintaing the global evil government tyranny of the Biblical END TIMES that we are at least in the birth-pangs of.
Some folks say SOME of the greys are bio-engineered short-lived bodies housing demons.
The best Biblical etc. experts assert that they are not demons but fallen angels . . . that demons were fallen angels who’s bodies were destroyed in Noah’s flood. There were other fallen angels who didn’t lose their bodies and thererfore are not technically demons but who could be playing the role of ET’s quite easily.
If I had the idle time, it would be great to calculate the number of words I’ve written in this thread alone without any color or larger font sizes and then calculate the percentage of large font colored words
leaving you to eat your UNTRUE WORDS of:
“Nothing but huge type . . . . “
LOL.
One of my favorite recreations is helping naysayers eat their words.
“One of my favorite recreations is helping naysayers eat their words.”
I’d certainly be willing to eat my words if you only would provide one single shred of solid evidence. The writings of what other people claim to have seen is not evidence, it is anecdotal and does not approach reasonable evidence of extra terrestrial visits. Just give me one solid piece of evidence. Something like a fossilized skeleton that proves dinosaurs once roamed the earth, or the relics of a viking ship to prove they visited America before Columbus, or even some arrowheads to show what kind of weapons Indians used before guns.
Every time I ask about solid evidence you reprint some lengthy article written by someone who wants to believe as you do, but has no evidence except something unexplained he or she saw. All of them are replete with hints of government coverups and conclusions not based on any data. Please show me a photograph of an alien or of an alien craft on the ground. Surely with all the evidence you claim exists of alien visits and people putting probes into alien bodies someone must have thought to take a picture or collect some kind of sample. Just one, just show me one.
When you say e-mail, did you mean a private message here at the Freep?
I remember very well a couple of Freepers who said that rational and thinking people who question the existence of flying saucers were “afraid”. One particularly pathetic cretin used the word “terrified”.
It’s stale, Quix. The True Believers need a new shtick.
who has a hard time seeing through the hoaxsters....
Shoot, even if I pick up a new W Strieber book or a new Timothy good or Budd Hopkins bookfolks who have earned a lot of respect due to their diligent research and candor....
I believe you, Quix, I really really really really do.
Like is wrote before . . .
Your criteria for evidence in this field is dramatically different than any other criteria you expect of anyone in your network about any other thing.
And IRRATIONALLY SO.
I have cited the archeological dig which produced solid evidence.
I have cited implants that have been removed and scientifically analyzed as extremely atypical for earth-bound manufacture etc.
I have cited more than 3,000 trace landing site cases wherein there was tangible, solid evidence on the ground and on vegetation in addition to witnesses narratives.
I have cited the scientific peer reviewed journal articles about the differences in plants, dryness of the soil and micro-fine iron particles within the crop circles and not outside of them.
YOU HAVE ARBITRARILY, IRRATIONALLY, . . . and worse . . . dismissed all such as beyond the pale.
From my perspective as a psychologist, you aren’t the least bit interested in solid evidence unless it matches your rigid, narrow, arrogant biases.
I received an email from my normal nonFR email box.
Naw. Would take a lot of silly work to come up with a new schtick.
I think I’ll just let events catch up with the old stuff.
LOL.
WRONG.
There are millions of folks who
HAVE SEEN INEXPLICABLE THINGS in this field.
That’s demonstrated by solid survey research.
There are certainly 10’s of thousands who have gone on record around the world.
And the numbers of highly credible professional level people are in the thousands.
No. The History channel is not wasting it’s time.
However, willful blindness is a dangerous waste of time.
Prayer is the first thing that comes to mind.
Has been very potent in every war in the modern era and probably every other war.
My main concern is that AT LEAST CHRISTIANS be focused enough on God and alert enough to at least some of the more probable possibilities that their faith will not be shaken.
